It's already been said many times that the U.S., under President Donald Trump, was turning its back on Ukraine. But the past few days show something worse than abandonment: Trump is now actively helping Russia win the war.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has endured what few leaders could imagine. Betrayal by friends, hesitation from allies, endless political games, and the daily destruction of his country. Yet he refuses to surrender.
War has changed him. His face carries years of exhaustion, sleepless nights, and the unbearable responsibility for millions of lives. He is not a Hollywood hero. He is a man who chose to stay when leaving would have been easier.
He never asked the world for sympathy. He asked for weapons to defend his people. While politicians debate and the world grows tired, he continues fighting for Ukraine's survival.
I have never admired a public figure as deeply as I admire this man. Not because he is flawless, but because he has shown extraordinary courage when it mattered most.
Presidents come and go. Ukrainians will decide their own future. But history will remember the man who stood with his nation when everything was at stake.
**Stay strong, President Zelenskyy. You have not abandoned Ukraine, and Ukraine has not surrendered.** 🇺🇦

"Understanding Productivity," edited by Roy Green and Phillip Toner.
amzn.to/4zd7FyQ
"A central concern of economists, policymakers and civil society in recent years has been the persistent and widespread slowdown in global productivity growth. This stands in stark contrast to the robust productivity performance and associated prosperity witnessed across advanced economies in previous decades. The productivity slowdown represents a significant concern because it underpins the tensions emerging from income and wealth inequality, an expanded corporate profit share and geopolitical friction as established and emerging economic powers vie for global market supremacy. History offers numerous examples of technological advancement coinciding with heightened economic uncertainty and political discontent, yet these were also predominantly periods of accelerated productivity growth. This volume delivers a guide to the contested terrain through a diversity of perspectives spanning mainstream economic analysis to institutional and political economy frameworks. It encompasses topics ranging from the definition and measurement of productivity to the function of research and innovation, financialization and business dynamism, management quality and workplace relations and the existential implications and opportunities presented by climate change. Understanding Productivity targets policymakers, students across multiple disciplines and readers eager to examine the productivity "black box," to participate in an informed exploration of theory and evidence-based perspectives and to formulate their own conclusions about this critically important dimension of contemporary economic discourse and debate."
Bart van Ark: "This volume provides a timely and authoritative guide to the complex debates surrounding the global productivity slowdown. Bringing together leading international experts, it explains why productivity matters for living standards and economic policy and offers readers an accessible overview of the key concepts, measurement challenges and competing interpretations shaping today’s productivity discourse and the future outlook."

🇺🇦 At just 23, Anastasiia Miskevych commands an artillery battery.
She is a captain in Ukraine’s 32nd Separate Mechanized Brigade — and one of the women serving in a demanding combat leadership role in Ukraine’s armed forces.
Her story began early. She chose the military path as a young woman and went on to become an artillery officer. By 2023, she was already commanding a self-propelled artillery battery as a lieutenant. By 2025, she had risen to the rank of captain.
Today, she commands artillerymen and operates one of the most powerful tools on the battlefield: self-propelled artillery🫡
Commanding artillery means making decisions under pressure and responsibility for her crew.
Anastasiia chose defense, she helps Ukraine stop Russian invasion.
Wow,my admiration🫡🇺🇦❤️

She underwent training, became a riflewoman, and fought on some of the toughest sectors of the front—in the Serebryanskyi Forest, near Chasiv Yar, in the direction of Kupiansk, and in the Donetsk region.
In 2023, she was struck in the abdomen by shrapnel from a mortar shell. She underwent surgery, recovered, and returned to the front just four months later.
She was wounded again. Yet, she returned.
And in February 2025, despite her injuries, this remarkable woman climbed Mount Kilimanjaro—rising 5,895 meters above sea level—and planted the Ukrainian flag at its summit.
A Ukrainian woman who stands on the front line even today🇺🇦
