Lucky to encounter Slavonian and Black-necked Grebes shoulder to shoulder for a short while today at Covenham!
A female Scaup has been lingering for several days in the Pyewipe area to the south of the Humber estuary and today I had my first views of it, just as the sun peeped out from behind a cloud.
Very fortunate this morning at Theddlethorpe when the Lapland Bunting walked into view while we were looking at the Shore Larks!
A second visit on a grey morning to see the Fillingham Great Grey Shrike - and it did not disappoint!
