Day one of back in the office after surgery. It was a long day. Got a lot done. It was very tiring. Pushed it and went grocery shopping (hubby went with me to help out). I am so done for today.

My grandson gave me his plushie so I could sleep better. How cute is that?

Week two of recovery ... working from home. Taking it easy. Husband goes grocery shopping for me at lunch. Now he has gone with me in the past and he has run to the store to pick up items here and there. But he has never done a full week's shopping before. When he finally got home, I asked what took so long. He spent 30 minutes in the produce aisle trying to find scallions, bok choy and zucchini. Although I make them all the time, he didn't know what they looked like and had to google each of them because he didn't want to bother me. He goes the extra mile so that while I'm recovering, we can still eat healthy. Just have to love that man.

Home today recovering from surgery last week. Nothing requiring PT, nothing life threatening, just need to rest. How do people do it??? I'm bored. Into the fifth day of taking it easy and I'm ready to climb the walls. So ... yes ... yes ... I did look at my emails.

My surgical procedure went well today. Back at home convalescing. Pain isn’t too bad but boy am I tired. Dinner for the week should be interesting since the hubby can only make a few items but he’s taking good care of me.

People ... please ... now that we are back in the office do NOT take call on speaker phone or web calls without headphones. I do not want to hear your conversation.
