Wonderful visit to @LDF_fun_farm Lower Drayton Farm, Staffs to see the fabulous tulip fields.
@rich_bower, a former student of mine @HarperAdamsUni has shown how diversification can help farm income and provide a great local attraction. Lovely to also see Richard on TV. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Spending my 20’s working for the amazing @CobreyFarms learning from @Johnchinn3 @henrychinn & Chris, was invaluable experience, that is now paying off at our family farm @LDF_fun_farm

It's #BackBritishFarmingDay 🥳 Today is an opportunity for politicians and the public to show their support for British farmers and growers, and the work they do 365 days a year to feed the nation and care for our iconic countryside.

This is why farming families are so worried about the #FamilyFarmTax 👇
Last week, farmers up and down the country were explaining the devastating impact of the family farm tax on their lives.
Will the government listen to them and consider our calls?

Celebrating 5 years of Play@ @LDF_fun_farm today.
It took 5 years before that point to get planning permission and build it.
Thanks to everyone who has and continues to support us.
Lots more crazy ideas to come 🤩

Thanks for the call 📞
📣 Listen in! 📣
Farmer Richard has been interviewed on BBC Farming Today on Radio 4 about this year’s PYO Pumpkin crop 🎃
Did you know tickets are already on sale for Staffordshire’s BIGGEST pumpkin patch?

Started the day delivering 🚜🇬🇧 home grown wheat 🌾 we harvested yesterday, to the mill.
Rain stopped combining today 🌧️
Had 600 visitors @LDF_fun_farm to see the animals & have a foam party 🥳

Thank you @beverleyturner . @Keir_Starmer says IHT bill will be only 2% annually for 10 years. His pathway to profitability is around a quarter of this if you were to trust him. Sky say the tax will be 150% of farm income. Forcing farmers to sell land.
Now standing up for the farmers, @beverleyturner is asking all the right questions, drawing all the right comparisons.
Trump has abolished the death tax for farms in the USA, while Starmer abolished relief from death tax in order to kill British farming (and farmers)

Key thing to note if you're watching the Spring Statement: none of the figs in this speech were vetted or checked by the OBR.
So it's even more difficult than usual to interpret/analyse them.
Ironic, given RR pledged never to hold a big fiscal event without the OBR's oversight
I often feel like @JeremyClarkson calling Kaleb for help, when I have to call Chris from Agri-Droid UK Ltd to tell him I have gone wrong mapping an obstacle in the field.
Within no time @DroidFarm remotely got us up & running again sowing PYO Beetroot.
Thank you, great back up🙏

Zelenskyy is fighting for the survival of his people.
We just witnessed what can only be described as bullying.
Performative bullying for a domestic US audience.
Just watching the video shamed me to my core. Utterly shaming.
Hoping @realDonaldTrump puts @Keir_Starmer straight on the #FamilyFarmTax
Food security is global security, if you can’t feed a country, you don’t have a country.
Farmers need long term policy and support so they have the confidence to plan, sow, grow and harvest your food.
