I wrote a novel. It’s a thriller called The Procurer. You can buy it in paperback or on Kindle. Retweet! amazon.co.uk/Procurer-Richar… – at Stonehouse, Scotland
I built a new thing. Private notice boards for teams, clubs, groups or families. We are using it at TeamWeb to give the team a start page to launch GitHub PRs and Shortcut stories with quick links, as well as jump to our key Confluence docs.

Wow, we finally did it. We built a help desk SaaS product called Issuebear and it launched! issuebear.com. Super customisable, transparent pricing, designed for humans to provide world-class customer support. Or handle their bug lists. Or sales enquiries. Or...
A weekend of media.
Book of Mormon: Good. Mad. Filth. Not for your mother.
Confess, Fletch: Fun mystery, Hamm is excellent. Great cast.
Wakanda Forever: Enjoyed original but this was bad. I was very bored. Low point for MCU.
I used to get all of my podcasts in @OvercastFM. Now I also have to get them in Spotify or BBC Sounds because they moved. The two services I pay for (yes, I pay for the BBC) are the ones actively making my listening harder.
Off to World Travel Market at the ExCeL London for a couple of days. Hopefully with weather a little less wild than Glasgow.

Although maybe now they’ll get somebody who likes brighter colours.
Technology has just been against me this week. Internet issues, OS issues, and now it’s Home Assistant issues. It’s just stopped working. After 3 months of trying to use it, it’s going in the bin.
I blame @jsnell for this. That’s who
I told my wife to blame anyway.
Next step is to work on the software.
Nah, gave up on Linux. So many hard crashes and lockups. It was like doing all your work on the absolute edge of it all collapsing at any minute.
Windows 11 has been annoying me a little bit at a time over the past couple of months. Almost bought a Mac desktop, since I use both. Instead I installed Ubuntu. You know what… it’s alright. It helps that every app I use (vscode, slack, github desktop) is just a browser.
Websites that keep pinning UI to the bottom of the browser window - you do know that the iPhone gesture control is there and it gets in the way of your interface, right?
This Apple event is so exciting I literally fell asleep 35 minutes ago and just woke up. I’m not sure I need the action mode they’re now talking about.
27. Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang(36 Chambers)
The best of the rap albums so far, if that means anything.
