Fathers, a California-based producer of organic American lagers, secured $2M in funding from Robert Irvine and several other investors. Irvine is also joining the company as a Strategic Partner and Advisor, bringing decades of experience in food, hospitality, and consumer brands. Irvine is no stranger to CPG; he previously co-founded FITCRUNCH and sold it to 1440 Foods in 2024. Fathers will use the new capital to support its expanding retail footprint through sampling, retail activations, and local events. In just five months, Fathers has grown from self-distribution in two California counties to working with 8 distributor partners representing 51 counties across California, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Fathers was co-founded by Joe Cloyes and Conor Begley, two seasoned entrepreneurs with experience across consumer goods and technology.

Clean lager brand Fathers Brewing just announced its expansion into Philadelphia, marking the company’s first market outside of California. Fathers is entering Philadelphia by partnering with Penn Beer Sales & Service. The brand will also be available on Gopuff for delivery in as fast as 15 minutes. Philadelphia Eagles legend Lane Johnson is an investor in Fathers Brewing and will also act as an ambassador. The company is currently on pace for 672% year-over-year growth, driven by expanded retail distribution and strong velocities.
