🚨 MAJOR BREAKING: Wab Kinew just told Carney: "It's time to abolish the Indian Act."
Not a Conservative.
An NDP premier.
A FIRST NATIONS LEADER holding up his own status card.
He said it identifies him as an "Indian within the meaning of the Indian Act."
He said Canada should no longer have a "race-based form of identification."
He said it at the first meeting of Ottawa, the premiers and First Nations chiefs in two decades.
AS A FATHER TO 3 FIRST NATIONS KIDS, I AGREE.
ABOLISH IT FOR GOOD.
No more race-based laws or land giveaways.
WE ARE ALL EQUAL.
The ball is in Carney's court.
150 YEARS IS LONG ENOUGH.
Replying to @johnhawkinsrwn
Yeah, this retard is so fucking dumb that he doesn’t realize that our policies serve the Ukrainian people.
Pieces of shit like this want the war to continue until every last man in Ukraine has died in a ditch.
They are utter scum of the Earth.

Legacy cell carriers a few months ago: Starlink Mobile will not be a competitor. Their signal won’t even be able to penetrate walls.
Legacy cell carriers today: Oh shit, we were wrong. Quick, start lobbying so they can’t compete!
SpaceX plans to launch their next-gen Starlink Mobile service, built for 5G speeds, in early 2028.
AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile are jointly lobbying the FCC to preserve existing rules as @SpaceX moves closer to launching its own independent cellular network that would compete directly with the three major U.S. carriers.
On Oct 20th, reps from all three major U.S. wireless carriers met with FCC officials to push back against proposed changes that would give satellite companies more freedom to offer cellular service.
The carriers urged the FCC to:
• Block satellite companies from using certain 5G frequencies currently used by wireless carriers.
• Keep rules requiring satellite companies to get permission from wireless carriers before using their licensed spectrum.
• Allow wireless carriers to maintain control over these agreements, including the ability to end them.
• Reconsider proposed interference limits to protect existing cellular networks.
Based on all the public communications from these carriers, and the lobbying, they are clearly worried that SpaceX's @Starlink Mobile network is going to be a major competitor to them. Starlink Mobile will become the first network operator to deploy both satellite and terrestrial spectrum.
The FCC recently announced that they are considering new rules that could make it easier for satellite companies like SpaceX to offer cellular service without relying as heavily on existing wireless carriers, so this is partly what the three big carriers are fighting against.

The glorious spectacle of Timothy Miller wearing a burka
spectator.com/article/the-gl…
Brendan O'Neill, Spectator 16th Oct
Crack open the warm bitter. Dust down the bunting. Put Elgar’s ‘Nimrod’ on repeat. For at last we have something to make every true English heart swell with pride. It’s the stirring sight of that 76-year-old geezer who was arrested for wearing a burka attending court yesterday in… a burka. Oh, this blessed plot!
His name is Timothy Miller. He’s from Southampton. On 12 September he was arrested at an anti-immigration protest for parading about in an entombing niqab. The cops accused him of using the Islamic veil to conceal his identity. Not so, he replied: I really am an ageing student of Allah.
He repeated this defence at Portsmouth magistrates’ court yesterday. He lifted his veil – I’m cracking up – to confirm his name, address and date of birth. He then said he is ‘studying’ Islam and he wears the burqa to gain a ‘greater understanding’ of the faith. His draping veil was flawlessly accessorised with a fetching black handbag. . .
The sourpusses of the Islamo-left will wail ‘Islamophobia!’. They’ll accuse him of ridiculing Islamic dress. But the burqa is ridiculous. We didn’t need a pensioner from Southampton to tell us that. It is cruel, brutish, backward, sexist and profoundly anti-social to make women drape themselves in public like this. If you’re alarmed when a white male pensioner pulls on a sackcloth but cool when a brown-skinned woman is forced to do so, you might want to have a word with yourself.
It’s possible this case will force some serious head-scratching in public life. Like, why is it potentially a crime for a British pensioner to cover his face but fine for a Muslim woman? Is it because she believes Muhammad flew to heaven on a winged horse and that women must wholly surrender the self to divine decree? If I embrace such truthless dogmas, can I also wear a mask on the street? . . .

At the 2026 Juno Awards, Joni Mitchell gushed about how awesome Carney is and what a piece of shit Trump is.
Yesterday, October 13th 2026, after moving to the US 62 years ago, she became an American citizen. She proudly holds an American flag.
Absolute fucking hypocrite.
One of the biggest scandals in this campaign should be the abysmal treatment of our seniors by changing the rules about property tax deferment. They massively increased the interest rate and changed to compound interest instead of simple interest. They are sucking seniors dry.

You don't get to be the Premier of BC, have a $500,000 household income and put your kids in $10 a day daycare when that program is designed to help out struggling single moms
There is no coming back from this

Hot take: If you are buying a hybrid or PHEV thinking it is the clever middle ground, you are getting played by transitional marketing.
You do not get the best of both worlds. You get the compromises of both crammed into one chassis. You still copped all the legacy internal combustion liabilities: oil changes, spark plugs, complex cooling loops, filters, and scheduled servicing, while dragging around hundreds of kilos of electrical ballast.
Sure, modern PHEVs give you eighty kays of EV range around town. But you are still married to the fuel bowser, still tied to dealership service schedules, and running a compromised platform that completely misses the benefits of dedicated skateboard architecture, flat floors, and proper packaging.
If you have off street parking and a daily commute, stop paying a premium to drag a combustion engine along for emotional support. Commit to the clean platform and go full BEV.

Gordon Campbell had the dot com recession, 9/11 and the 2008 financial collapse. And BC was still prospering. Horgan had Covid recession but came out pretty unscathed.
Now look at Eby? lol that’s wild and some of you are out here defending him!? 😂
If he was a man of honour he would step down as he’s clearly out of his element.
Regardless he doesn’t deserve your vote. Power hungry typical politician.
BC’s left wing base and voters have lost the plot. We need smarter folks from that end of the political spectrum or we’re in for a painful decade.
And no the Greens are not even remotely a solution. They’re currently just a bunch of class warfare types who hate anyone that’s built a life of success.
