I just stumbled into a Twitch stream and my entire life was validated 5 secs in. Chris is my spirit animal.
It's worth a watch to the end.

I use NATS in every project, from startup config to job orchestration. A single binary with endless use-cases stacked on top. Foundational.
🎉 Happy 16th Birthday to @nats_io! It has been an amazing journey and we are just getting started as the central nervous system for cloud to edge systems and agentic AI as it moves closer to the physical world.
We are also open for voting to graduate from the @CloudNativeFdn - Only the TOC's votes are official but a 👍 is always welcome - github.com/cncf/toc/issues/2…

I self-host git today; access over tailscale. Have considered an http wrapper and a few bells and whistles, but this might be light enough for Ricky.
New blog post on the different setups you can run Enroute on: From a VPS for your side project to a multi-Raft cluster for high availability. Same binary, just a different config. enroute.sh/blog/four-ways-to…
MessagePack for C# v4 Preview 1 is out. I posted a short write-up on r/moderndotnet about the new formatter interface and an asm-level look.

tl;dr of my agent use. Grok bot is now my main entry point.
I threw away my custom loop. I have all of the "edges" of my SDLC covered. Git is all local to my network. CLI tools and targeted shell commands handle everything.
I made these pre-AI. Rewrote them with AI. Then, promoted myself from engineer to Leadership. I still have some harness sessions for targeted work... but the minions I have in Grok bot do the rest in a controlled manner.
Typical setup:
- dev/test site for quick iteration
- promote to prod when signaled
- a grok bot as a product owner
- a grok bot as an engineer
- a human bot (me) that tells them what to do
- NATS, the secret sauce
Everyone talks to each other. It's all my code, in my ecosystem.
