No question Samantha Harvey’s #TheWesternWind is one of my books of 2018 so far. In Oakham a man has killed himself or been murdered, why? Told backwards in a slow yet intricate way by the village priest John Reve, one of the most wonderful narrators I’ve read in a long while.
