What an incredible day at Special Swings in Plant City, Florida! ❤️⚾️
We are beyond proud to be part of such an amazing event that brings so much joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories to some truly special kids!
Ryan Gill and the Board of Directors did an amazing job planning the inaugural event! A HUGE shoutout to our incredible staff and Sydney Buck for pouring their hearts into making this day so memorable! Your dedication and passion made a difference in the lives of so many!
A special THANK YOU to our pros, Tyler Danish, Camden Minacci, Bennett Lee, and Brock Wilken, for taking the time to sign autographs, connect with the kids, and create memories they'll treasure for years to come!
And we can't say enough about Rick Odette and the Florida Southern Baseball Team! These young men were absolutely AMAZING! They didn't just show up -- they showed up with heart! Watching them pair up with these incredible kids, share smiles, offer encouragement, and make each child feel like an All-Star was something truly special. What an outstanding group of compassionate young men! 👏
Days like this remind us that baseball is about so much more than the game. It's about connection, kindness, giving back, and making a difference … one smile at a time.
We are already looking forward to next year! Thank you to everyone who helped make this day one to remember! ❤️⚾️

They won't know how lucky they are until they get older and think about it!
The @MocsBaseball players had the opportunity to engage with @FLSouthern Hall of Fame member Frank Cacciatore.
Cacciatore was the MVP of the 1975 @NCAADII College World Series for the @FSC_Mocs.
Following his time at Southern, Cacciatore played two seasons in the @tigers organization.
When his playing days were over, Cacciatore returned to Southern to serve as an assistant coach with Joe Arnold (1978-82), helping guide the Mocs to National Championship in 1978 and 1981. The Mocs record during that five-year span was 227-50!
Cacciatore left Southern to become the head coach at @PBSCBaseball. He guided the team from 1983 through 1986 going 166-70-1 and winning three conference titles and a state championship.
For the next 30 years, Cacciatore worked in professional baseball as a coach, manager and scout working for the @Phillies, @SFGiants, @Nationals, @Mets, @astros and @Marlins.
