If you're dealing with obsession, do these 3 things: 1. Go to confession. If you're not in a state of grace, there's a reason it's persisting. 2. Pray daily for the grace of forgetfulness. 3. Consecrate yourself to Mary. If you belong to Mary, you do not belong to Satan.

The Most Powerful Tactic I've Found: Ask your guardian angel to purify your memory and imagination. He has a special charge to enlighten you. And enlightening means casting out darkness. Ask him to hit control-alt-delete on anything not good for you to know.
