I confronted Justin Trudeau and asked him what gives him the right to continue as prime minister of Canada? He's a public figure—not the king—and he has FAILED! It's time for him to go! It's time for an election!

The NDP has been wiped out in BC. The BC Conservatives have won big. David Eby was defeated in the end by his ego. LOL!

I'm not a fan of how certain people captured the BC Conservatives and kicked out KLF - the leader party members elected. But David Eby and the horrible NDP deserved to lose. Hopefully now BC can return to some common sense, stop hating on our history, and stop the land nonsense

Pereceived bias at the Supreme Court How can Chief Justice Richard Wagner be objective about whether the govt's use of the Emergencies Act was constitutional, when he's already used the same rhetoric condemning the trucker protests as the government did? torontosun.com/opinion/edito…

The Supreme Court of Canada has agreed to hear the Liberal government's appeal of the Emergencies Act decision. The Liberals lost both in the Federal Court and unanimously in the Federal Court of Appeal. Now Canada's highest court will weigh in on a matter where 4 judges have so far unanimously ruled that Trudeau's government acted beyond their legal authority in invoking the Emergencies Act during the Freedom Convoy 2022 and violated people's rights.

The Canadian government's mass immigration policies of the last 10 years were highly regressive. Having seemingly learned nothing, they are dead set on turning back on the taps rather than letting the country heal. On cue, the media has begun parroting the government's narrative and gaslighting anyone who disagrees. This suggests that they remain blissfully unaware that the Bank of Canada has written extensively about how (mass) immigration has negatively affected housing, rents, inflation, labour supply, wages, and productivity. So I've compiled an inexhaustive list to help these folks. 🏘️- Monetary Policy Report, October 2023 🔗bankofcanada.ca/wp-content/u… ▶️"The strength in rent and other housing costs is partly due to strong housing demand, which is supported by rapid population growth, and a structural lack of housing supply" 🏘️- Staff Analytical Note, December 2023 🔗bankofcanada.ca/wp-content/u… ▶️"The rise in immigration is nonetheless contributing to pressures in inflation components linked to house prices, given that it is adding more to housing demand than to housing supply in the context of structural imbalances in the Canadian housing market." 🏘️ - Speech by Toni Gravelle, December 2023 🔗bankofcanada.ca/2023/12/econ… ▶️"When a country’s population is growing quickly, the supply of housing also needs to increase to avoid a worsening in affordability. Shortly after immigration began ramping up in 2015, Canada’s vacancy rate—a measure of how many apartments and houses there are available to rent or buy—started to fall." 🏘️ - Monetary Policy Report, January 2024 🔗bankofcanada.ca/wp-content/u… ▶️"A larger increase in newcomers than in the past is adding pressure to the structural supply constraint in housing. This has helped to push the overall housing vacancy rate to record lows, which has underpinned house prices and led to higher rents (Chart 3-A)." 🏘️ - Staff Analytical Note, April 2024 🔗 bankofcanada.ca/2024/04/staf… ▶️"Meanwhile, the composition of immigrants coming to Canada has changed considerably since 2015. Historically, growth of the immigrant population in Canada came mostly from permanent residents....While the wages of the earlier immigrants are closer to those of Canadian-born workers and have been increasing over time, those of non-permanent residents are much lower and have fallen over this period. Because real hourly wages are typically correlated with labour productivity, this piece of evidence is consistent with non-permanent residents working in less productive occupations." 🏘️ - Monetary Policy Report, July 2024 🔗bankofcanada.ca/wp-content/u… ▶️"The increase in housing demand from newcomers is being felt across all types of housing, but the largest initial impact tends to be in rental markets. This is because most newcomers start out as renters." 👨‍🌾 - Staff Analytical Note, May 2025 🔗bankofcanada.ca/wp-content/u… ▶️"if newcomers’ conditional wages reflect their labour productivity, the productive capacity of the Canadian economy grew less than it would have if recent newcomers had the same socio-economic characteristics as in the past." ▶️"However, this gain has been particularly acute for certain industries such as accommodation and food services, business, building and other support services, and retail trade. Labour productivity in these industries—which are comprised of a sizable share of lower-skilled occupations—is lower than the average in the business sector." 👨‍🌾 - Staff Analytical Note, May 2025 🔗bankofcanada.ca/2025/06/staf… ▶️"Youth—individuals 15–24 years of age—represent a significant portion of the overall increase in unemployment since the start of 2023. This is a larger share than during other periods of rising unemployment (Chart 5). This is partly due to the high number of immigrants, who are generally younger than the rest of the population." 👨‍🌾 - Speech by Nicolas Vincent, May 2026 🔗bankofcanada.ca/wp-content/u… ▶️“The labour market is particularly challenging for young people”: The 2022–24 influx of young newcomers “intensified competition in Canada for lower-skill and entry-level jobs”. Youth unemployment has risen above 14%, and he expects it may normalize now that immigration has been cut. 🏘️ - Staff Article, September 2026 🔗bankofcanada.ca/2026/09/spar… ▶️"Strong population growth drove asking rents higher in recent years"

How about we give Canadians those jobs?! Pay money to train Canadian kids. No more reckless immigration. This is gross. People here NOW need jobs!
Canada is looking for skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, plumbers and machinists, to help build homes, strengthen our workforce and support critical infrastructure across the country. If you have the training, credentials and experience in the skilled trades we’re looking for, explore our immigration pathways and build your future in Canada: bit.ly/4uXwAoe

I know many people are upset about the referendum. Hundreds of thousands of you put what feels like to you your last political willpower into this succession vote to throw a desperate hail Mary to save your future. I am not celebrating the loss of your hope in this vote failing. I am celebrating the second chance we all now have to stand side by side and make things better. We can't do it alone. We need each other. And there's always hope left.

If nothing else, you can be damn sure I'm not going to tell you something just because I think it's what you want to hear or to get the most clicks. I will ALWAYS tell you what I actually think. I want polite conversation but I'm also not a punching bag for people. I clap back.

The government sucks because we let it get this bad!! Sitting on the couch and yelling at the TV or leaving comments on Facebook does NOTHING. Get involved in your local community. Go to boring meetings. Watch boring debates. Learn who the liars are. Call them out. Speak loudly and clearly for the changes you want. ONLY THEN WILL IT GET BETTER! There is no where to run to. No one will save us. No one will do it for us. We all have to get a whole lot more involved. We all have to be a whole lot more brave. Only together can we overcome the enormous decay thrust upon us. Alberta seperation is over for now. But the fight for our future and our home is just beginning.

I am happy Alberta voted to stay in Canada. We are all in this together. Our futures are all tied to one another from coast to coast to coast. A rising tide lifts all ships. Let's make it happen. Let's make our home and future better. There is nowhere else but here. This is our home.

Alberta's referendum question asking to hold a binding vote on leaving Canada has failed to pass. So far it looks like 25% are in favor of a vote to leave the country while 75% wish to remain part of Canada. Meanwhile "yes" is leading in 8/9 of the other questions, including on requiring proof of citizenship to vote in provincial elections, giving the Alberta government more control over immigration into the province, and restricting temporary immigrants' access to social benefits.

This guy embodies one of the most popular archetypes used to bully white men throughout the world. Yet after being attacked, he gets back up, stands his ground, and faces his attackers to defend whatever remains of his store. His attackers, meanwhile, behave like a pack of hyenas. Whatever bravery they have is only because of their numbers and their de facto anonymity — police wouldn’t arrest them anyway. So, the guy who looks like the punchline of a thousand jokes actually displays more honor in a single moment than literally the entire recorded history of his attackers. He has no crowd to hide behind, no numerical advantage, and seemingly very little left to protect. What has happened to him will either be ignored or excused as having been caused by some kind of socio-economic problem which is ultimately his fault anyway. Nevertheless, he stands there. I would take one thousand Jacques Blacks before taking a single refugee.

when Rome was sacked, most people living in the Roman Empire didn't notice much of a difference in their daily lives the farmers kept farming, the merchants kept trading, the normies kept norming. life went on Rome still fell the fact that you can walk down your street and get a croissant doesn't tell you much about the state of your civilization but it tells a lot about you
Just in case anyone is wondering: I live in Paris; if I didn’t have X dot com I would have no idea there are riots in France.
