Reliance Foundation Drishti Braille Newspaper increases frequency to weekly; expands news access for visually impaired. In a step towards making news and information more accessible to people with visual impairment, the Reliance Foundation Drishti Braille newspapers in Hindi and Marathi will now be published every week in partnership with the National Association for the Blind (NAB) India. The Braille newspapers, reaching over 30,000 readers, are part of Reliance Foundation Drishti's broader commitment to vision care, reaching over two lakh people and helping restore sight to over 22,500 people. Earlier this year, Reliance Foundation Founder and Chairperson, Smt. Nita M. Ambani announced a ₹5 crore commitment to NAB India to empower people with visual impairment. Cleaner surroundings begin with collective action. 🌱 As part of its nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign, Reliance Foundation is driving cleanliness and sanitation initiatives across India. In one such initiative, Reliance Industries Limited’s Nagothane Manufacturing Division undertook activities across 24 villages, bringing together 215 employee volunteers who contributed 645 volunteering hours. The drive saw approximately 140 toilets deep cleaned across schools, Anganwadis and community facilities, 36 tonnes of community waste removed and scientifically disposed of, 8,346 sq. metres of overgrown vegetation cleared, and 1,300 metres of community drains and gutters cleaned and restored. The employee volunteering drive also collected approximately 530 kg of waste.
