The new pope won't have any trouble finding his way around Italy. Being from Chicago, he's seen this map a thousand times.

Things are moving slowly but steadily. Cotton Gin Smokers just shared that both 1000-gallon smokers are making solid progress. We are working on the final renovation plans to send to the state for approval before that work can being.

Remote work doesn't thwart productivity. It boosts focus.
Data: Government workers are 12% more productive when randomly assigned to work from home. They're more efficient where it's quiet.
Most people aren't shirking from home. They're escaping distractions and long commutes.

OOP is what happens when software developers feel embarrassed about how easy and stupid their jobs are so they feel the need to make things complicated so they can go to sleep at night without shame

We haven't needed programmers since the advent of automated programming in the 1970s. Once you have a high level language like COBOL and a compiler to automatically turn it into actual code, business professionals can create their own applications without having to rely on specialized programmers.

.@BBQsnob somehow managed to make insurance interesting. “The cost of insuring a business is going to be one of the most debilitating costs that we experience, particularly in the Houston area.” - @FegesBBQ texasmonthly.com/bbq/hurrica…

My new personality is defending Chicago
-super clean
-best architecture
-Lake Michigan is essentially like living right by the ocean (it’s a boating and beach going town) but no sharks, no seaweed, and never smells fishy
-3rd largest city in the county but cost of living is more similar to a much lamer mid size city
-major airport right in the middle of the country
-the weather is actually good for half the year (mid March to mid October), not just a couple of months
-people are always talking about the crime but that’s mostly concentrated to certain parts of the city that you have zero reason to visit, I’ve always felt safe living here
-many large companies have offices here, plenty of job opportunities
-the people are generally nicer because most are from somewhere in the Midwest
-if you want to live in the suburbs we actually have some really beautiful ones with real history, it’s not just strip malls, chain restaurants, and sprawl. The North Shore has gorgeous tucked away beaches and frank Lloyd wright designed homes
-actually walkable and ample public transportation
-fantastic museums, the art institute in particular is a must see
-the lake trail is kinda like our Central Park, just miles along the coastline of trails and parks and beaches

It's bizarre how nobody in Chicago ever talks about how awful Michigan Avenue is for every use case.
Want to bike? Zero bike lanes.
Want to drive? Zero parking.
Want to bus? Stuck in traffic.
Want to walk? Crammed onto small sidewalks.
Want to relax? No outdoor seating.

I have a colonoscopy today. Yesterday, I started my prep. Haven't ate anything in over 24 hours and drank all the laxative. It's been a long 24 hours so far of just hanging out in my bathroom.
Just checked my phone and realized my colonoscopy is actually July 12th and not June 12th.....
I hate myself.

For those that are still discrediting Zach Edey and his shooting potential.
Watch this closely. These are the spot up shooting drills. Watch how he catches the ball in his shooting pocket and goes straight up.
This is fluid and should transfer very well at the next level 👏🏻
