The current market meltdown makes me to remember the timeless advise given by Graham. In his book, the Intelligent Investor, he categorically says to have 50% of your portfolio in high quality stocks and 50% in debt instruments. Such sane advise, given 5 decades back, helps now.

The stray dogs menace is huge and real. During my college times, I couldn't take the road to the college in the night due to the fear of stray dogs. Few years back in New Delhi, where I reached late in the night, I couldn't venture into a colony because of a group of stray dogs.

But the actual number could be much higher. If you just look at the number of #rabies deaths, the figures are startling. The government figure for rabies deaths in 2022 is just 21. #WHO, using govt data and other Indian sources, says 305 died of rabies in the same year. But WHO also says that its estimate of rabies deaths in India for 2022 is actually 18,000.
