corrective periods like this often put into perspective the things that really matter
GOD
family
your mental sanity
instead of spending another Sunday glued to your computer, absorbing doomer narratives on CT
why not take some time off today?
go to church, spend time with family, get some fresh air, and focus on yourself for a change
the market isn't going anywhere
and sometimes, the best thing you can do for yourself is step away from the charts
crypto will still be here when you get back
protect your peace, keep your faith, and remember that there's more to life than the markets

OVERTRADING
October 10, 2025
i had what would become the single biggest one-day loss of my career
i lost eight figures in minutes due to systemic failures on the biggest CEXs, and to this day, no one has taken accountability for what happened
my losses made headlines and became one of the biggest stories to come out of that day
but what many people don't know is what happened in the weeks and months that followed
i lost several million more
and i did it by making one of the biggest mistakes traders like me tend to make:
OVERTRADING
in hindsight, i would have been far better off shutting everything down for the next few months or even quarters
i probably would have become a much better trader if i had simply stayed away from the computer for at least six months
but a part of me was desperate for action
a part of me wanted to make it all back
a part of me wanted to prove that i still had what it takes and that i would get back on my feet
i wanted to 'work'
and sitting back, doing nothing, and staying away from the computer for a prolonged period didn't feel like work
except that, for a trader, being AFK can sometimes be the most important work you do
one of the biggest mistakes i made — and that many traders make — is assuming that skill, experience, and process are enough to consistently outperform the market
they aren't
believe it or not, successful trading is often a combination of skill, favorable market conditions, timing, and luck
as a Christian, i attribute the 'luck' component to GOD's blessings and favor rather than sheer luck
but the underlying principle remains the same:
our biggest wins often come from combining a solid process with being in the right place at the right time
sometimes, that means catching a single exceptional trade
other times, it means being positioned during a streak of opportunities that emerge in quick succession because market conditions are overwhelmingly in your favor
for example, you could have been a memecoin god simply by being active in the market during the explosive memecoin era of 2021, which produced $DOGE, $SHIB, $FLOKI, and several other billion-dollar runners
many traders made life-changing money during that period
but the same sophisticated processes that helped some of us make 7, 8, or even 9 figures during the bull market would have failed miserably in the bear market that followed in 2022
the same principle applies to the 2024–early 2025 era, which produced several multibillion-dollar runners like $WIF, $POPCAT, and $FARTCOIN
and then the prolonged dearth of opportunities after $TRUMP leading to 10/10 and the almost one-year period following
the point is simple:
the edge that makes you money in one market environment won't necessarily make you money in another
and one of the most important skills you can develop as a trader is recognizing when your edge is no longer there
sometimes, the best trade is no trade at all
sometimes, the smartest thing you can do is take a bow, step away, and wait for the next opportunity
even if only temporarily
it's almost impossible to consistently beat the market over a sufficiently long timeframe
but as crypto traders, we have one significant advantage:
we don't need to outperform the market every single day, week, or month to generate exceptional returns
historically, crypto's bull phases have tended to occupy a disproportionate share of the cycle, with bear phases accounting for a smaller portion
using one historical framework, the bull phase averages approximately 1,060 days, or 74% of the cycle, while the bear phase averages around 380 days, or 26%
but if your definition of a bull run is narrower — i.e. a period of explosive momentum when $BTC trades above its 200-day moving average and much of the cycle's biggest price action occurs — then the window becomes significantly shorter
under that framework, we're talking about approximately 237 days, or around 16% of the cycle
these figures are estimates based on particular definitions of market phases, not universal constants
but the broader lesson remains:
you don't need to trade every market. you need to recognize the windows when your edge is strongest and capitalize on them
for the rest of the time, there's nothing wrong with stepping away entirely or trading only with a tiny fraction of your portfolio that you can comfortably afford to lose
preserving your capital, your mental clarity, and your ability to recognize the next major opportunity is far more important than forcing trades in unfavorable conditions
because the goal isn't to be active all the time
the goal is to be positioned when it matters most
and to have the discipline to do nothing when it doesn't
to conclude, i only wish i had followed this advice myself
hopefully, i'll do a better job of applying it going forward, GOD WILLING

Once every few years, an extraordinary engineer comes along and launches a crypto project.
And every once in a while, one of those projects changes everything.
You either see the vision or you don't.

i spent a lot of 2020 and 2021 glued to the charts, constantly feeling like i was going to miss something if i logged off
over time, i've learned that trading 24/7 can become a trap, even when you're making money
there are periods where being extremely active makes sense, and others where stepping away is the better decision
having a life outside of trading is important bc knowing when to switch off is just as valuable as knowing when to trade

Why the fuck are Indians hated so much? What have they done to deserve this level of hatred?
Have Indians promoted terrorism? Have they colonized your countries? Enslaved your people? Stolen your homes? Taken away your families? Kidnapped your children? What exactly have millions of ordinary Indians done to deserve this much racism and hostility?
Is it because they're educated, intelligent, ambitious, hardworking, and competing for the same jobs as you? Since when did intelligence and ambition become crimes? Since when did working hard to build a better life become a reason to be hated?
If your problem is job displacement, then why aren't you directing the same anger toward artificial intelligence?
Why not question AI? Why not question ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Anthropic, OpenAI?
AI has the potential to displace far more jobs than Indian immigrants ever could. Yet somehow, the Indian engineer, the Indian student, the Indian doctor, and the Indian worker become your enemies.
Why? Because it's easier to target a human being with a different skin colour or accent than to confront the actual economic forces changing your world?
And understand one thing clearly.
If an Indian refuses to engage with your racism, if they ignore your insults, if they choose not to respond to your hatred, it doesn't mean they lack a spine.
It means your hatred isn't worth their time.
Indians don't owe you an apology for being educated, ambitious, hardworking, successful, or simply existing.
Being Indian is not a crime. Being successful is not a crime. And your insecurity is not a justification for racism.

Never fall for the psyop to “prove yourself” to anyone here.
This isn’t directed towards the quote post,
But a lot of niggaz on here care about their imaginary “online aura” so much that they’ll go to stupid depths to verify their net worth/show they “got it.”
Why?
Is the paranoia of knowing you could be a marked target worth the trade-off of some anon retard singing your praises saying, “Mashallah you’re the goat bro!”
Or is it worth flexing / wallet doxxing your entire transaction history [that onchain sleuths can pull mad shit from] just so you “save face” vs irrelevant morons on here?
The answer is ALWAYS NO.
If I told you guys how easy it is to get T1 CEX KYC info, you’d all be fucking horrified.
It takes one wallet doxxed tied to an off-ramp account and it’s gg.
Let niggaz call you a LARP.
You should be damn grateful that people think you’re poor.
The vast majority of niggaz on here are money worshippers,
They don’t care about YOU in the slightest, they only care about your imaginary figures and jerk off to that.
We used to come on here to shitpost and troll with chart updates in between dead volatility moments.
Somewhere, CT became no more than “onchain PnL” pissing contests.
The morons who said, “If you don’t dox, your opinion is irrelevant” are the same people, who, unironically, are clueless about real wealth.
Stay anon and just nod in agreement if niggaz try to clown your bank balance.
Agree and amplify.

if you live in the uk and do crypto get the fuck out

Mr. Musk, yes, no billionaire should dictate a nation’s policy - Indian or American.
India must welcome competition in satellite internet, from Indian and global providers, whoever offers the most practical and affordable last-mile solution for those in remote regions. In countries with lower per-capita incomes, satellite internet must be affordable too. High subscription fees and equipment costs risk putting it beyond the reach of ordinary households. Connectivity must bridge the digital divide, not create a new one.
India knows our networks and spectrum are strategic infrastructure, not merely commercial assets. India’s national security safeguards are non-negotiable.
Every country makes choices based on its own interests. Those in the West cannot preach free markets while practicing protectionism at home. USA imposed 100% tariffs on Chinese EVs to protect its domestic industry, just as India takes measures to protect its own domestic manufacturers. Both India and the US have restricted Huawei over security concerns. One cannot demand a level playing field from others only when it suits its own agenda.
Indians will internally debate, question and address our strengths and shortcomings as a democratic country.
Take BharatNet, India’s programme to bring broadband to village-level local bodies. We will question why, as the CAG’s 2026 audit report found, the programme is struggling to meet its original objectives. Why were only 33.2% of service-ready Gram Panchayats operational, despite ₹39,888 crore being spent? At the same time, we know to appreciate our telecom sector and regulations, which has made internet data among the world’s most affordable, bringing millions online.
India is a democracy, not a colony. We welcome the world, but we, the Indian people, will decide our own future - not Western vested interests, their double standards or any billionaire - Indian or American.
this is exactly what the entire world did to China
i remember for three decades Chinese goods were considered cheap and low-quality (which they were)
that is what happens when a country is about to switch gears:
- there are mistakes and iteration is messy
- rest of the world cannot believe that an underdog is attempting something they thought was impossible
Today, China is producing world-class goods and Musk had to get BYD tariffed in the US coz they couldn't compete. free markets my ass
India is just getting started and the attacks/memes are just going to increase
Politics doesn't matter here.
The only thing that matters is: KEEP BUILDING!

ONE YEAR AGO, Captain Smit Machchhar was asked what's a bigger high: A smooth landing, or an on-time arrival?
His answer: "None. Safe. You don't have to think about on time. They've hired other people to take care of that."
"A positive landing. Safe landing where I'm supposed to land. If it turns out smooth, perfect."
Today, stabbed by his co-pilot, he still got the cockpit door open so passengers could stop the hijacking.
He saved the lives of all 174 passengers, and they had a safe landing.
Thank you, Captain Machchhar.
ZRC20 vs BRC20 Explained
One important distinction:
ZRC20 uses JSON data that can fit within Zcash's on-chain data constraints, meaning the token inscription data itself can be stored on-chain.
Images are different. A typical JPEG/PNG can be much larger than the available per-transaction memo capacity, so simply putting a URL to an image does not mean the image itself is on-chain.
Dont trust me, ask claude!

I will never forget hearing someone in a vc literally crash the fuck out because a complete stranger was up 7fig on a trade lmao.
like, imagine crashing out over something that has absolutely nothing to do with you.
his port was unchanged. his bags were unchanged.
he was crashing out over someone else’s pnl
imagine how big of a loser you have to be.
focus on yourselves, with social trading becoming more of a thing, pocketwatching and crippling, toxic jealousy are at an ATH. dont worry about anyone else’s trades. It’s you vs. you.
hyper focusing on other people pnls will only distract you from improving and growing..

NO VAMPS, NO PVPs. One Ticker. Forever.
The new domain for the launchpad is live and the first 5 tokens are live. The fees from the trading of these tokens will be used for buyback and burn of the tokens or they'll be transferred to a legit CTO team willing to run them.

For anybody looking to bridge out, we've built a bridge that lets you bridge out in a batch of 100$ transactions since circle only allows 1$ in withdrawl per transaction. If anybody is looking to test out the bridge, they can try with small amount first. But be cautious of using a new bridge and test the bridge with small amount first.
PS - The rpc for ARC seems to be down at the moment but the bridge is working fine and smooth. Once the RPC is up, can try and test the bridge.
things i dont flex on the timeline, realized pnl, material objects like cars, watches etc. there's nothing wrong with that either btw.
i do flex nature, spending time in national parks, skiing and free time.
This doesn't really say much bc of notional exposure isnt really terrible by any means. So there is no real context in terms of what % is deployed or overall drawdown. But I talk about defense often. and I live by that. I would never put myself in a position where something could materially negatively impact me or the future. That is a big reason why I also have a family office now where the focus isn't on having beta to the market.
I always always always keep a big portion in box spreads, and in general non correlated assets/fund mangers that are non directional like Qube, Statar, special credit etc like Chicago atlantic, etc. This helps smooth out the path of returns and reduce overall volatility. I also have never once flexed a + pnl in terms of the exact dollar amount im up or down on a trade. But I dont mind sharing the loss porn. We all have it. Its unavoidable and none of us are perfect
Im blessed to be in a position to have days like this. Obviously I bought quite a bit on July 17th after waiting 6 weeks to grab thos entries on NBIS, sndk, ewy, and AAOI with the plan of only selling SNDK and EWY which I did at least sell those two on the rally. NBIS I doubled the position. AAOI is now at a loss, NBIS is back to where I originally bought but now at a loss after the add. This also includes BB which that position is almost entirely de-risked or risk free which we traded quite well. I don't expect v reversals either, but i do think a lot of these are attractive entry points, and we grabbed them. 40-60% down, and did that with patience. There are a lot of people who rode those down. Things of course can get worse. We can also always have a big time aspect of chop on these. But I think overall, the risk management, and timing has been incredibly strong and consistent. If made further changes, I'll be sure to share them but wanted to share this.
This also doesnt reflect realized gains for the month. But just wanted to share on a day that isnt so great.
