Staying in used to be the budget move. Now convenience is the product and the fees are the business model, so a quiet night at home can cost about the same as going out. Anyone actually cutting delivery to save money?
90 million 401(k) savers just moved one step closer to crypto.
A final Labor Department rule easing alternative assets — private equity, real estate, and digital assets — into retirement plans landed at the White House for OIRA review on Nov. 5. Bloomberg Law says that's usually the last checkpoint before public release.

There is no clean "keep Search, ditch AI" switch anymore. If AI is baked into Google Search, schools that ban the tools are deciding whether kids get the same internet everyone else uses.
Schools that block AI will lose Google Search too.
Early next year, Google will turn off AI tools for K-12 students unless schools opt in. But AI is built into Search, so schools that restrict it entirely lose student access too.
Should schools be able to keep Search without the AI?

Around 100 protesters broke into Microsoft's planned Amsterdam data center site this morning.
Some climbed a crane and hung anti-AI banners. The project: three 85-meter towers with Microsoft as sole tenant — cleared as a 2016 plan after Amsterdam banned new data centers through 2030.
Same week U.S. voters rejected data-center buildouts. Last month Microsoft abandoned the UK's largest planned site over power delays.
