A reminder
The IRA murderers watched him place the baby in a carry cot on the back seat of his car.
They waited till he got in the drivers seat then opened fire from behind the vehicle in the full knowledge that the bullets would pass through the baby before killing her dad.
There are scum in this world who think the IRA were freedom fighters.
They were cold blooded killers

Extremely serious allegations against the government tonight.
Sir Ben Wallace, the former Defence Secretary, has accused Labour of artificially inflating the defence budget by including security services spending.
This has been done, he alleges, to try and hoodwink Nato that we are on course to meet the commitment of defence spending as 3.5% of GDP by 2030.
DESPITE Nato rules clearly excluding security services in it's measurement.
The UK Statistics Authority is "considering" his complaint.
It doesn't need much consideration. It needs investigating, and if true, those complicit must pay the political price.

Replying to @NorthAges
Rousay, that small island, is nicknamed the Egypt of the North for its hundred ancient sites, and this is the grave that stops you. A young mother who died with her newborn, buried not in haste but with silver, gold, amber and glass, treasures that had crossed the sea from Scandinavia with the settlers. Someone laid those things beside her and stayed to remember. Twelve hundred years later a farmer's plough found her again. The pin is beautiful in its museum case. The story is better. She mattered enough to be buried like a queen.

The Westness brooch-pin formed part of a Viking-Age grave disturbed by a farmer at Westness, Rousay, Orkney, #OTD in 1963. It is silver decorated with gold, amber and glass. The grave contained the remains of a young woman and newborn child. 📸National Museums Scotland

I will always refuse any form of medical treatment from any man who insists he's a woman.
That's all I need to know about any man to know I don't want him anywhere near me.

BBC PAID HIM 6X MORE.
THE TRIBUNAL SAID THAT WAS ILLEGAL.
Samira Ahmed @SamiraAhmedUK presented Newswatch on @BBC for years. Same format. Same length. Same job. Read viewer feedback on camera, wrap it up, go home.
Jeremy Vine @theJeremyVine did exactly the same thing on Points of View.
She got £440 per episode. He got £3,000.
Ahmed spent years trying to fix it quietly through internal BBC processes. The BBC said there was no problem.
She filed for tribunal. In January 2020, the tribunal ruled unanimously in her favour. The BBC could not explain the difference. They tried. They argued Vine needed "a glint in the eye" and to be "cheeky."
The tribunal said that was not a skill. It was a story the BBC told itself.
The total underpayment was close to £700,000. Sarah Montague, another BBC woman, settled separately for around £400,000.
The National Union of Journalists flagged around 70 more cases waiting resolution internally. After Ahmed won, 700 BBC women received pay rises.
The BBC's statement after losing? They regretted it had gone to tribunal.
Not that they paid a woman six times less than a man for the same work for years. Just that it became public.

I’m so angry to read this about Joe Duffy.
It’s a reflection of how powerful trans activists are that @talktojoeduffy- the most well known and popular voice of the underdog in Ireland- considered a careful discussion about the importance of the word woman and mother “ the most wounding period of his career with the broadcaster.”
I had already been cancelled by then and so I recently carefully tracked and documented the slide of the Irish media into shameless servility towards trans activists.

Spare me the handwringing declarations that Dr Upton "is lovely". Let him show that loveliness by not trying to wheedle his way into treating females who wish to have female healthcare professionals treating them.

This is one of the most blatant examples of gaslighting you’ll ever see.
This clip sums up the Labour Party. It sums up Angela Rayner. And, frankly, it sums up too most politicians.
Laura Kuenssberg asks Rayner about Andy Burnham opening the door to a return to freedom of movement. He’s started the debate by talking about it.
Kuenssberg: “The Labour manifesto in 2024 said in black and white ‘there will be no return to freedom of movement’. You stood on that manifesto. Andy Burnham promised to stick to that manifesto. He’s breaking that promise, isn’t he?”
Then this from Rayner: “No he isn’t, because he’s been really clear that this Parliament, that manifesto, we are clear we are not reopening that debate.”
Unbelievable. Even by her standards.
Kuenssberg put her right immediately: “He’s literally just reopened this debate. It’s exactly what’s just happened.”
She denies the debate has been reopened in the same breath as it is being reopened. They will say anything, no matter how obviously contradictory.
We watch car crash after car crash from Labour ministers, yet they keep rising in the polls. No wonder the country is in such a mess.

I finally got a reply from Bridget Phillipson’s team to my many questions about her new Labour Class War unit and the abolition of the Social Mobility Commission.
It took them 6 weeks to give me the same reply to every question, no matter the content. Take a look at the one below on costs which basically says in not mentioning costs at all - “we haven’t got a clue.”
It is now painfully clear. The Government has announced something with no idea of the costs, how they will implement it or the impact it will have. Utterly hopeless way to govern.
Bridget wrecked our education system by putting ideology before evidence in every decision she took. She’s doing exactly the same in Women and Equalities.
