Hey @tweethue, where can I get really clear details on the upcoming "need to sign in"? I want to understand that my bridge won't, for example, be sending usage data to you.

Artist Isaiah Zagar watching his mural being taken down, without warning, today on my block in Bella Vista. Developer @noahostroff couldn’t care less about Isaiah’s art, the neighborhood or the safety of those walking by this site (debris flying everywhere). My goodness. – at Philadelphia, PA

I am downloading a final(?) archive of my Tweets. If third party clients are dead, I think I'm outta here.

I am looking for a GitHub Actions workflow that tests Dist::Zilla-based dists, including on older perls. So far, I haven't quite found that. Found Travis versions, or "test with latest perl only". Maybe I'll try to build it, but copying it would be better!

Imagine putting out a pat on the back 'we pulled it because it did a bad job at being empathetic in a MENTAL HEALTH context' thread in 2023. like folks like @Abebab @emilymbender @luke_stark haven't been telling us AI doesn't work like that for years
We provided mental health support to about 4,000 people — using GPT-3. Here’s what happened 👇

I say nice things about Rust and I say how great JMAP is — so, stuff you've heard before. But! Are also: you interested in fennel flavored toothpaste?

Congratulations to Commissioner Schmidt on his appointment as PA’s Secretary of Commonwealth. He was a crucial guardrail of our democracy during 2020.
Al Schmidt has a proven track record of defending our democracy, protecting voting rights, and standing up to extremism – even in the face of grave threats. I know he'll continue the hard work of preserving and strengthening our democracy as my Secretary of the Commonwealth.

Exciting news if you like words and science fiction and are me!
New entry! "conapt", a Philip K. Dick-ism, though now more widely used. h/t @rjbs for the original suggestion. sfdictionary.com/view/2740/c…

Tonight, we watched New Year's Evil. It… well, it wasn't great, but it could've been a lot worse. Just like 2022! #🥂

After six books (of the Long Sun and New Sun) of monosyllabic words, Oreb says "nobody", and now I feel like I need to go review 1200pp to see if this has happened before. Gene Wolfe really gets under my skin, in a good way.

junior/mid people: learn to use your self-doubt like a tool. it works to your advantage. that unsureness is what drives people to test things, to find out *why* existing things are like that, not to reinvent mistakes, and to understand what parts are doing their job just fine
