To our extraordinary girl, Mikha. There is something beautiful about people who never need to be the loudest in the room to leave the deepest impressions. And that is you, Mikha. Quiet as you may be, your words always seem to find their way to where they are needed. You have a gift for making people feel seen, heard, and remembered, even in the simplest of moments. Perhaps that is what makes you so special. You have never made people feel like they are merely watching you from a distance. Instead, you welcome them like old friends, make time even when there is only a little to spare, show up in ways both big and small, and carry the little things with you. Because somehow, you always remember. And to be remembered by someone who means so much is a kind of magic of its own. Twenty-three years of you, Mikha, and we hope that somewhere between all the growing, becoming, and discovering, you never forget the little teenage girl who first dared to dream. The girl who started it all, who stepped into the unknown with a heart full of possibilities, never quite knowing how far those little dreams would take her. May life continue to meet you with beautiful surprises. May you find the courage to walk towards the things you cannot yet see, and the grace to embrace the uncertainties along the way. You do not have to have every answer, nor must you know where every road leads. Sometimes, the beauty is in the becoming. Here's to twenty-three! To the dreams still waiting to unfold, the places yet to be discovered, and all the beautiful versions of yourself still waiting to bloom. Happy birthday to our extraordinary girl. May the little girl who once dreamed of this life look at you now and know that every step, every leap, and every uncertain beginning was worth it. And may the woman you are becoming always have a reason to dream a little further.
