I've spent a while getting mainline Linux running on an old Android phone and I'm open-sourcing the agent skill that came out of it.
Most of that time wasn't writing code. It was waiting.
Every guess costs a build, a flash and a boot, and most guesses are wrong. My agent would happily produce a "fix" in seconds and then burn ten minutes proving it wrong.
The skill takes that option away. Back up the stock system first — turns out it's the best research source you'll ever have. Capture what the device actually said. Check all the places someone might have solved this already, not just the first one that returns something. Then change one thing.
Everything in it is something I measured on the hardware.
All my hobbies have either become very expensive lately or require an always-on VPN connection.
But mostly both.
What a life.
Most of the time you don't need any separate service for push notifications if you already have Home Assistant
Created a little something for my AI-coding setup: a card for dashboards and notifications support for tty7 and omp as a first-class citizen.

GPT6(.1) refusal to root an old corporate IP-phone with Android 6 has forced me to try local GLM5.3-Flash.
Let's see how it goes.

Alright folks github.com/Acelogic/Snapinto… here it is, have fun. Expect for this to be very rough, you may have to point some agents at it. Working on de-slopifying the codebase and making it more adaptable. But hey Hackintosh Lives 🥳
Vendor locks are dead.
Software exclusive to hardware is dead.
We can run anything anywhere.
But at the price of the code no one will ever read.
Я там добавил русский язык + пару фиксов в первые дни, все уже смержено в последние версии.

When passion meets skill!
The C64 is 44 years old, yet it still has one of the most dedicated and skilled user bases, even decades later.
It never ceases to amaze me what they get out of that machine. Jack Tramiel would be smiling if he saw this.

PS5ception is real 🤯
I've been dreaming about this moment for WEEKS.
Ladies and gentlemen:
A PS5 game, running in KytyPS5 (emulator), running inside a PS5 homebrew… on a PS5.
Yes, really. The homebrew scene will never be the same. 🔥

Neat stuff coming for the Xperia 1 ii :)
As someone who's day job is Android firmware development, I wanted to set myself an interesting challenge, Android Jellybean on a "modern" device.
Since the 1 ii was blacklisted in Australia (at least the HK model), I've been looking for uses for it, so why not try something cursed!
So far basically everything is working (excluding Celluar/GPS, and Camera is a huge WIP atm).
GPU Acceleration is even working!
Yes, this is fully native too (mostly, technically some of the hardware interfaces run in a chroot on top of Jellybean), but,,,,, I can't backport drivers I don't have the source for so :P
