THE IRS JUST RELEASED THE NEW 2027 🇺🇸 TAX BRACKETS. HERE'S HOW THEY WORK IN PLAIN ENGLISH
Every bracket got a little bigger to keep up with inflation, so you can earn a bit more before moving into a higher rate.
Step 1: Take what you earn and subtract the standard deduction. That part isn't taxed at all.
- Single: $16,600
- Married: $33,200
Step 2: Whatever's left gets taxed in layers.
Single filers:
- 10% on your first $12,800
- 12% on income up to $52,025
- 22% up to $109,125
- 24% up to $208,325
- 32% up to $264,550
- 35% up to $661,375
- 37% on anything above that
Married couples: the cutoffs are roughly double ($25,600, $104,050, $218,250, $416,650, $529,100, $793,650).
Example: You're single and earn $76,600. Subtract $16,600 and you're taxed on $60,000.
- 10% on the first $12,800 = $1,280
- 12% on the next $39,225 = $4,707
- 22% on the last $7,975 = $1,755
Total: about $7,742 in federal income tax, or roughly 10% of what you earned.
Even though you're "in" the 22% bracket, only your last $7,975 gets taxed at 22%.
The Lord’s chosen president cannot be the one who was mentioned more times in the Epstein files than Jesus was in the bible.
I’m sorry, Nigerian Christians, but this cannot be God’s plan for you. Even me sef, I want better for you people.

nunca se esqueça: por mais legal que seja sua relação com um branco, sendo amizade, namoro, sociedade, etc. em algum momento esse branco vai te lembrar que ele é branco
My own in all this: I just want to say a very big FUCK YOU to every Nigerian MAGA orangutan out there.
You remain the dumbest political block on this wretched, bot-infested platform and we are all collectively dumber for your very existence on this app.
Keep eating shit. 👍🏾

Two interesting things I discovered this week are:
1. That you can get genuine court affidavits online from the Nigerian Federal High Court. A genuine one, not the ones those roadside people give you.
The website has all sorts of affidavits, even ones I didn't know existed.
2. The National Population Commission has a working portal. You can register your newborn online and get a certified birth certificate that is accepted worldwide.
You can do all these things without any bureaucracy.

My friend Ola had to move back Nigeria for TEN Years because of the bullying in school. He kept fighting back and kept facing disciplinary action so his dad sent him away in middle school and didn’t bring him back to America until he was 22. He literally lived with relatives in Lagos, Abeokuta and Akure. We definitely aren’t making this up. Afrophobia affected lives.

Some construction skills are about to become a luxury only the rich can afford.
Real plaster. Hand-built stairs. Custom trim and millwork.
The old guys are retiring, few young people are learning it, and factories are taking over the rest.
In 10 years, a true craftsman will cost what a surgeon does.
What skill do you think gets rare first?
