The auction for the replica shirts and jackets has now closed. Many thanks to everyone who made bids, and particularly to @ChristyDuf48523 whose generous bid of £300 won the collection.
Just a few hours to go in the auction for the late Craig Liggitt's collection of @AVFCOfficial_ID gear, in aid of Birmingham Hospice. Current highest bid is £200 from @Oliversmart. Auction ends at 5.00pm. #AVFC
The family of Craig Liggitt, who died last year, have asked me to auction his Villa collection, with proceeds going to the Birmingham Hospice at Selly Oak. There are 16 replica shirts, 4 jackets and a silk jacket. I will put the highest bidder in touch with Craig's family. #AVFC

The Italian fans, the Latin Lions, join their English friends to celebrate together the Villa’s first victory on Italian soil, in a wonderfully welcoming and friendly city like Bologna. UTFV. 🦁
I'm proud to say that we have an award-winning author writing for the @AVFCOfficial programme. Richard's features this season about Villa goalkeepers and Euro grounds where Villa have played have been exceptional. AND it's his birthday!
What an amazing evening at @HomeOfCricket. Hard to describe the thrill of winning such a prestigious award against stiff competition. Thanks to so many people who made Victory in Australia happen. Couldn’t resist a photo with Len Hutton! @BloomsburySport @CricketSociety

On Valentine's Day in 1994, I took Mrs B to Tranmere Rovers' training ground, where I interviewed John Aldridge and manager John King ahead of the League Cup semi-final against @AVFCOfficial. She sat in the car and read her book...
