In particular, we document the ‘puppy blues’, the sadness and difficulty new puppy owners frequently experience - super important to plan for that! They may be cute but they’re mighty hard work

There is a massive deficit of longitudinal studies in the field of shelter/dog rehoming research, so it was very exciting to see that @DogsTrust is tackling this with their Generation Pup project!

Wondering what to check out today at @ISAZOfficial? There are several @DogsTrust study findings being shared today! 🐶 First up this morning: a poster reporting on a study led by @SaraGarstecka, exploring dog owners' decision-making & help-seeking during fireworks events 🎆🐕

The poster title is '“When it comes to fireworks our tactics is try and cope rather than cure”: Qualitative Analysis of UK Dog Owners’ Decision-Making and Help-Seeking During Firework Events'.
