Responses from B&NES and Bath's MP far too late. Interesting to see how many people - and organisations - have decided to withdraw. Maybe thinking of the 15.2 % city population over 65.

RT Shocked & appalled that @bathhalf organisers did not postpone. It is highly likely that some runners will have #COVIDー19 & a sweaty group run is the perfect environment for spreading it, while damp ☔️ weather isn’t great for lungs!

Today’s developments, & the actions taken by London & Brighton, & other sports, show that events organisers can & should respond to people’s fears & worries. I’m calling on @BathHalf to postpone Sunday’s race until later in the year when I hope the risks will have been reduced.

In true Bath fashion @bathhalf organisers are all about the money! So irresponsible to keep the #bathhalf going with everything going on, come on @bathnes @bathnesld stop this. You’re putting people at risk, and using up valuable medical resources that are needed else where!
