Terra Max vs Opus XHigh. I am not convinced teapawt.net/OpenAI/status/21147807…
Gemini and Muse, of course
Feedback from Opus 5.5:
"Muse really searches. Its few broken links are pages that have since disappeared. About 12% of its links are sites like x, y, z." I censored those becuase they are phishing sites
Flash makes up links that look plausible, such as Wikipedia articles and Guardian reviews that don't exist.
I gave up on Google and Perplexity. The answers are so terrible and when you ask clarifying question they backtrack on their answer.
They have to use very dumb models in the background.
What is the news? Am I out of touch? Shouldnt we all be preparing for it by default?
Executives at OpenAI, Anthropic and other AI companies are reportedly preparing for a public and political backlash after a catastrophic AI event, possibly as early as 2027 (via Axios).
Axios reports that many industry insiders expect a major incident within the next 6–12 months, most likely a cyberattack disrupting banking, internet access, power or water.
OpenAI confirms it runs preparedness exercises, but says: "These scenarios are not treated as inevitable, but are meant to help us prepare for a variety of circumstances."
Anthropic declined to comment.
Dont stay up late. That would be confusing cause and effect.
teapawt.net/thesupermannx/status/2…
Going to bed late is associated with a higher IQ.
Researchers at the London School of Economics analyzed thousands of individuals to map the relationship between circadian rhythms and cognitive ability.
People with higher IQs are significantly more likely to be night owls.
The data breaks it down by sleep schedules:
• Very Dull (IQ < 75): Sleep by 11:41 PM
• Normal (IQ 90–110): Sleep by 12:10 AM
• Very Bright (IQ > 125): Sleep by 1:44 AM (and sleep in past 11:00 AM on weekends)
Why? Evolutionary psychology.
For 99% of human history, night was for sleeping. Artificial light didn't exist. Staying up late chasing complex thoughts, building projects, or solving problems is an "evolutionarily novel preference."
People with higher general intelligence are more equipped to override ancestral instincts, break away from the traditional sun-up-sun-down routine, and adapt to a modern, 24/7 world.
The early bird might get the worm.
But the night owl gets the higher IQ score.
I guess it depends if you want to enjoy the process as well or just have it achieve a goal.
When my son was very young he didn't really go to sleep. When we sang to him he was calm but it could took another 20 minutes and to sing for 20 minutes may be exhausting. So not really about enjoying the process. We just recorded the singing on the phone and kept it in the loop. Especially if it is every evening.
Reading a book is also about me and enjoying fatherhood. I would not use AI or delegate it but that just me.
That is great and everything, but can you remove anti-bot limits from Grok bot? I just asked Grok bot to move my list around and it got limit blocked.
ask your Grok @Bot to monitor X for user feedback on your products! send feature requests to your issue tracker, bug reports to a cursor cloud agent or project to triage and fix
the loop is complete
I put them all on my list except gwern as he can not be added teapawt.net/i/lists/21049650701029…
Controversial take: It seems fairer now without upselling higher tier for better price/limit ratio. Even better with GPT 6.1 sol pricing it seems.
For some reason, I don't think normies are gonna adopt this like they try to portray in this video.
The rest of us had this for the better part of a year already with OpenClaw and Hermes.
It's gonna end up in the same dusty drawer as custom GPTs, Agent Builder and Sites...
So the big news from devday is that the $200/m subscription now cost $500/m.
This is fake account. Instead of "Rob Progressive" its "Rob Progreseive" How did they get so many followers on fake account? @grok
Looking on their mentioned prompt library, I wonder who are those "professionals in their subject".
the uk government's official ai guidance tells civil servants to use gemini flash instead of pro, keep prompts short, and not say thank you to it, for the environment
i do wonder at which point we forked the road. instead of building and using it to automate the work, we write guidance on how to use less of it
we have the attitude of a high school prefect. caring more about the rules than actually doing the work
This is a dilemma waiters have. They are using legs all day and dont give them time to regenerate. 2x month is good, dont forget many people dont do leg days in the gym. Even those who otherwise do sport every day.
At the end of the day, the law is the main problem in situations like these.
Hello computer,
Find every Amazon purchase I ever made.
Call the number of the manufacturer.
Say you’re not satisfied.
Request a refund.
If they decline, threaten to leave a bad review.
If they decline, find the CEO’s phone number and ask him for a refund.
Now, repeat the same process for items I never even purchased and see if you can get them to send me money.
If they ask for a recipient, generate an image of one and send that.
Do not stop until you’ve collected $1 million in refunds.
People dont realise power of Grok bot yet. I blew my mind it can actually do what I need without any restriction any other agent has, including ChatGPT, Meta or Claude.
Replying to @levelsio
Its nothing compare to Microsoft.
Do you know that microsoft.copilot.com, copilot.com, copilot.com (yes, with www), copilot.com/chat (yes, with /chat after) are different apps for personal Copilot that can have differe account signed in?
And then you have business copilot on office.com, m365.cloud.microsoft and copilot.cloud.microsoft which are THE SAME APP?
Also, if you try to log out of any of those, it will tell you you logged out, but when you visit it again, YOU ARE LOGGED IN!
You just can not log out of MICROSOFT! And for them its not security issue but feature?
