There’s infinite number of paths to success in software dev world. Don’t listen to anyone trying to sell to you their path to success as universal one, nor telling you what skills you should have, what type of problems you should work on, or whatever else.

Global vaccine scarcity is an artificially created problem.
Governments in the EU, UK, US & others are throttling vaccine production globally by blocking the #TRIPSwaiver - a proposal at the WTO to temporarily waive some intellectual property rules for medical products.

Happy #fsharp day! It's the 11th anniversary of F# being mass released in Visual Studio. A lot has changed since then, but thanks to excellent language stewardship code written in 2010 is still completely readable 😃

Thrilled and humbled to see @SqreenIO place 2nd in @elpha ‘s Top Workplaces for Women report.
As a People leader, as a company and as an industry we still have a tonne of work to do to raise the bar - this isn’t the end game, it’s just square one.
🎉 Excited to share our first Top Workplaces for Women report, covered by @axios this morning. We asked Elpha members to rate & review how likely they are to recommend their workplaces to other women. #womenintech Here’s what thousands of them said: bit.ly/3dnWtqY

I know I was never a big fan of Brexit. But it's done. And I do seem to recall a promise of £350 million a week for the NHS. Here's a picture of that promise. That's £18.2 billion a year that @michaelgove and @BorisJohnson promised. So that's the nurse's pay issue solved. Right?

People are rightly enraged at the emerging details of the dodgy covid profiteering by @MattHancock's friends.
They won't resign yet, that's plain. But the best thing is to support @GoodLawProject with real £££ to take further cases to court. I support them, please do the same.

I suspect we may be stuck in a cycle of euphoria and sentimentality, followed by disappointment, alienation and reaction. Forgive my cynicism, but we've been here before. Several times. And I don't see many signs of learning from history.
