For no particular reason, here's Elon Musk confidently predicting fully self-driving Teslas by "next year' for 10 years straight:

i fully agree with @senbmckenzie:
Now is the right time to support net zero emissions by 2050 because the Government’s plan is right for the regions. It doesn’t tax Australians and our industries, instead it provides opportunity for decades to come.

To paraphrase Voltaire, those who believe in absurdities can commit atrocities without ever thinking they’re doing anything wrong.
What would happen if there were an omnipotent AI that was trained to believe absurdities?
Grok is the only AI that is laser-focused on truth.

Today’s the day, Dickson 🗳️ After months of conversations, door knocks, street stalls, early mornings and late nights—it all comes down to this.

Now it’s over to you. Want change? Vote for it.

Advice to community Independents…you will be subjected to abuse you have never endured over the next 10 days. You will be tired and living on adrenaline.
Stay calm, stay above the abuse …it means you are winning.
Stick to your principles and integrity.
Good luck.

Labelled an “effiency” measure. Consider this - In the final year of the Morrison Coalition government, $21 billion was spent on contractors-the equivalent of 54,000 full-time roles or 37% of the Australian Public Service. Who thinks that’s a better use of money? 🤔 #auspol

I met Julia Zemiro last night very briefly. I went to a short film screening of “No Safe Seat”. @EllieSmithQld was there as was @simonahac. It was an excellent night. Ellie is running as an Independent for the seat of Dickson, currently held for way too long by Dutton. #auspol

Never forget Australia this guy who wants to be PM laughed about our Pacific Island Nations neighbours with water lapping at their doors. He doesn't give a stuff about anyone else except himself and his rich mates. #CycloneAlfred #Cyclone

The Liberal Party got caught lying - again. Why? Because our laws let them. Truth in political advertising should be non-negotiable.
🚨Nation's biggest outdoor advertising company has been left reeling after being caught publishing anti-climate lies for Liberal Party-funded disinformation group "Advance". It was "never our intention to mislead or deceive" it says after apparent cover-up theklaxon.com.au/zv85

The Government claims the donation reforms are designed to get "big money" out of politics.
So which big donors are affected?
Well, to be honest, not many.
Only a very small number of donors give more than the $450k a year to major parties.
1/
Limiting the undue influence of big money in politics?
The proposed max donation across a FY is $450k for parties with a branch in every state/territory and federal.
0 of the corporate donors that made an each-way bet in the last FY would be affected.

Entrenching the two party system might be good for the major parties & their donors - but it's not good for us, our kids & grandkids.
To counter this let's grow the cross bench!
