A copy of Beauty in the Making (2026) arrived, and here I am, also holding a copy of the original (Patterns of Love, 2001). Proofing this story made me fall in love with it all over again. For the first time it is available in Kindle+ (formerly KU). For those of you awaiting book #3, I am about halfway through with my proofing and gentle edits. I hope that I'll have it ready for you this week.

I changed my mind! After I sent my November release cover reveal to my newsletter subscribers earlier this month, some other decisions I made caused me to ask my long-time cover designer to give me a new and different cover. And she did. And I love it. So now I'm introducing the book on social media with a little video. You'll get a glimpse of the cover at the end. I am so excited. Yesterday, I FINALLY finished revisions of my next book, and that included writing three completely different epilogues (all which were wrong) before I realized what the true and perfect way to end the book would be. Duh!! It was so obvious when the answer came to me. Anyway, the manuscript got sent off to the editor last night. And, like icing on the cake, I also approved the cover for the book, and it is beautiful and romantic and evocative of the time period (Great Depression). I will reveal it first to my newsletter subscribers next week and will post on social media after that.
