Congratulations Pocahontas Area Girls basketball team on a hard fought 50-43 Regional Semifinal win against a very good South Central Calhoun team. PAC advances to the Regional Final next Wednesday 2/22 in Carroll at 7:00 to face Underwood for a berth in the State Tournament.
Denial D. at its finest! Paige Melohn brings a defensive energy and ability to shut down the opposing teams top threat! She is All State Defense in my book. If you want to show your athletes what 32 Min of defensive energy is you need to come to a PAC game!

This is an issue across the State. It is past time the State addresses the issues within School Districts that are turning teachers, subs, and associates away from education. Behaviors, understaffed, mental health, and piling on teacher plates.

Senior Ellie Melohn with the shot of her career to win the game for Pocahontas Area tonight! Her only 3 points of the game come with 4.2 seconds to go down 40-39. Indians win 42-40 over North Union in a Regional thriller!
