Zelenskyy’s decision to bomb Russian data centers in October 2026 will probably go down as one of the most consequential single decisions in world history.

Xennials. We are Xennials. The end of Gen X and the beginning the Millennials. We are in our 40s and think we are still 20, which is a problem when your back randomly locks up. We can name most songs from the 80s to about 10 yrs ago. We still think the 80s was only 20 yrs ago.
It's 👏 not 👏 real 👏 it's 👏 just 👏 a 👏 silly 👏 gameshow, 👏 none 👏 of 👏 it 👏 matters 👏.
This guy is a clown. I guess he’ll be selling his McLaren then. Always, always “do as I say…”
sam: local inference is a terrible allocation of scarce resources
“a lot of people want local inference, and somehow they assume that the problem is solved now because we have open-source models, we're going to be able to run them on our computers, and so we're not going to need all the stuff in the data centre
but from a global allocation perspective, actually it's quite terrible to have everybody, like, have a bunch of the world's limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer and being used five percent of the time
you want maximum utilisation in the cloud if you're trying to deal with this very supply-constrained environment
somehow many people's intuition is the opposite of that”
Incredible to see landlords crying now because at no point did they see their ‘investment’ as a risk. Property truly warps the mind.
Counterpoint: this is how organisations prevent leaks.

Organisers are in SHOCK, and investigating what's going on. @MailSport
Interesting time for sports and the Middle East. Man City, LIV Golf and the almost certain cancellation of the last two F1 races of the season that are based there.
Nonsense ‘report’. My son does the half term soccer schools at Cobham. It’s fun, straightforward childcare with a nice free T-shirt. Some parents do it to help their kids improve at their school or w/end clubs. No one goes into this expecting to be scouted.
Love it - charge parents £4000 a week then nick the best kids for free and still parents fall for the propaganda 🤣🤣
“…Next Monday, during half-term, dozens of children will pack into Chelsea’s training ground. These players have not been selected. Rather, they will be at Cobham because their parents have paid for coaching. Each week at Chelsea, parents pay £120 an hour for children to receive one-on-one coaching. This is merely a glimpse of how clubs monetise parents. A two-week camp at Charterhouse School next summer, during which children train for up to 24 hours each week with Chelsea coaches, costs £4,700. Training is so bespoke that there are even goalkeeping camps…”

I love New York but there's zero spontaneity here. Everything is a QR code, weeks of planning or an agonising 120 second wait while someone prods at an iPad to determine how your experience will end up.
