And if I say "all I need is $5 million to retire" you will say I should think BIG! that my dream is not big enough.... And that's the problem, people keep rising standards millstone after milestones...
I think 99% of us who got absolutely fucked over the last 18 months made one mistake. We wanted to be the MVP every fucking day. Look at James Wynn as a case study. You go from nothing to $100M. But suddenly $100M isn't enough. You want $500M. Then $1B. And somewhere in that pursuit, the numbers start going backwards. $100M → $50M → $25M → $1M → $100K → $10K → -$50K → -$200K. And the worst part? You're not even chasing money anymore. You're chasing the version of yourself that everyone once admired. The same crowd that watched you become somebody now watches you become nobody. Maybe that's where most of us fucked up. We forgot that you don't have to be the main character every single day. Sometimes take the L. Take a break. Lose some people. Let them go. Let the world forget about you for a while. You don't have to win everything. You don't even have to prove anything. The sun sets every day, and nobody calls it washed. It just rises again.

One of the biggest edges in crypto has always been understanding a narrative before the majority even knows what the fk is going on. Remember early DeFi? Most people had no clue what yield farming, liquidity pools or AMMs were. Early NFTs? People laughed at the idea of paying thousands for JPEGs. Early sniping bots? While everyone was manually buying tokens, a handful of people were already making fortunes through automation. Now we're seeing TapeOut, virtual transistors, circuit building, Proof of Design and all this complicated shit. Yesterday I was invited to a Space where people were discussing it, and I barely understood what the fk they were talking about. But that's exactly what caught my attention. Crypto has a strange pattern. First comes confusion. Then curiosity. Then education. Then speculation. And finally, mass adoption of the narrative, often accompanied by ridiculous valuations. The biggest opportunities often appear when something is too complicated for the average person to understand but interesting enough for them to eventually chase. Does that mean TapeOut will succeed? Absolutely not. It could be revolutionary, or it could be another beautifully packaged extraction mechanism. But I've learned one thing after years in this market that You don't get paid for understanding what everyone already understands. You get paid for recognizing what they might want to understand next. The real alpha isn't buying something because it's complicated. It's figuring out whether that complexity is hiding an opportunity or hiding a scam. And figuring it out before the crowd does.

This is the current state of the trenches. Some guy DMs me on Telegram: “BRO, GENERATIONAL COOK! BUY ASAP!” I scan the CA. Market cap: $3K. Total holders: TWO. One is the liquidity pool. The other is the mfer himself. I was about to become the THIRD holder. Out of pure sympathy, I threw in $100 just to give the guy some moral support. He INSTANTLY nuked the chart and blocked me. I used to say we're fishing in piss. At this point, even piss is too generous. We're fishing in a fking drop of spit.

Could it be the mighty machine they turned off
2026 is probably the most psychologically exhausting year I've ever witnessed. Almost everyone I speak to is fighting a different battle. Money isn't coming in. Businesses are struggling. Relationships are falling apart. Marriages are reaching breaking points. People who once had everything figured out are questioning their entire existence. And it's not just financial net worth that's declining. People's psychological net worth is getting absolutely fucking destroyed. I've survived multiple bear markets, crashes and some seriously fucked up years, but this one feels different. It's like everyone is fighting a war nobody else can see. I genuinely wonder, is this happening everywhere, or are we all just surrounded by people going through the same hell?

feel like BTC's refusal to go lower against genuinely infinite bearish levers getting pulled puts you in a "two wolves" scenario: 1) it finally dumps (alongside what, i don't know - s&p going down 10%?), and it's like "yeah wow the other shoe finally dropped - it's been a thousand tidal waves of bad news for over a month" 2) literally a single condition (of many) gets better, and BTC teleports to 94k inside a day, and you go "well yeah, no shit - infinite bad news failed to move it lower. that's a tale as old as time for rock-solid signal/heuristics, how were people not loading up here?" i'm an optimist and a simpleton, and think you can find a moving average that tells either a bad story ('oh wow we lost this'), or a really good story ('infinite bad news and hey we're at support'), i'm just doing option 2.. holding long. and looking at the monthly, which looks great above 76k

Things you should do NOW for the next bull run: - Preserve your capital - Build your network - DCA into quality long-term tokens - Learn to take profits strategically - Build a watchlist of projects you believe in - Keep some cash ready for dips - Set clear entry and exit targets - Track narratives before they become mainstream - Learn to manage risk

They during everything possible to gain people trust back, just like you used to say " best way to market is to pick up something and sent it to Valhalla" fomo back
You can't be serious. PumpFun's official account is celebrating a guy who supposedly made $35M. The token is at $35M market cap, with just $1.83M in total liquidity across ALL LPs. Half of that is tokens, half is SOL/stables. The guy holds 75% of the supply. That's $26.25M on paper, NOT $26.25M he can cash out. Market cap ≠ liquidity ≠ realized profit. How fucking desperate do you have to be for engagement to market paper gains as actual money made?

There's just something about your tone that makes me believe it more
they say you make the big money trading when identifying and positioning in things while nobody is looking at them, or fading them. you make money proportional to how contrarian the idea is, if you end up being right. i see so many people putting euthanasia rollercoaster graphics or generally writing off/hand-waving stonk fun eco yet i'm looking at the rev and eco performance data any time btc shows even the tiniest, flickering glimmer of strength, and i see a dam about to break (to the upside) unironically feeling like this right now. feels like there's a shelf of unguarded money sitting around that the entire tl is walking by while sneering and laughing

HOLY SHIT !!! THIS IS INSANE. Just before US-Iran fake deal reports, someone opened $40 million in oil short positions. Insider trading at its best.

Instead of being a jealous mfer when someone outperforms you, how about DMing them and asking what they're doing right that you're doing wrong? Crypto is a small industry. Most people are getting rekt, and only a tiny fraction are consistently making money. Find those people. Message them. Learn from them. Offer to work for free. Be their intern. Study how they think, how they trade, how they manage risk. Some of you spend more time hating successful people than figuring out why they're successful. Your biggest problem isn't that you're broke. It's that your ego won't let you learn from someone who's better than you. Jealousy won't make you rich. Curiosity might.

If people are calling for a Black Monday, it probably won't happen. Markets rarely move the way everyone expects. When the whole timeline is positioned for a crash, it usually does the opposite. Don't make decisions based on fear.

The trenches are so cooked that even if a meme runs to $100K MC mfers will find a reason to PvP it. Wrong spelling. Wrong ticker. Ticker should've been in Chinese. No, Korean. Meanwhile, some clown with a bunch of copy traders will ape $7K–$20K, dump on everyone following him, pocket a few bucks and call himself a trading genius. This is what the trenches have become. And then we wonder why Web2 normies aren't coming. Brother, you're rugging projects in 10 minutes. A normie needs longer than that just to figure out how to bridge funds. By the time he learns where the buy button is, you've already deployed, pumped, dumped and moved on to the next ticker. We've turned an industry that was supposed to onboard millions into a game of who can exit on whom the fastest and Eventually you'll run out of fresh buyers and start PvPing yourself. If you want new money to enter the trenches, give it a reason to stay. Otherwise, congratulations. You've built a casino where the players, dealers and exit liquidity are all the same 50 people.

My entire perspective on PvP has changed. And I'm not just talking about tokens or memecoins. I'm talking about chains, dApps, apps, ecosystems, everything. The moment you start crying about your competition, you've already admitted they're winning. Nobody gives a fuck about your excuses. Nobody owes your project success. Nobody is obligated to support you or your ecosystem. You have two choices Accept defeat and move on, or keep fucking grinding until you flip whoever is beating you. Stop blaming. Stop playing the victim. Stop expecting sympathy from the very people you're competing against. Man the fuck up coz Men either conquer or get conquered. There is no third option. BULLMORNING

BTC update: bond yields mooned when CPI came out, but the 30Y is lower than when the day started, and the 2Y is rapidly dumping off yields putting in a big rounded top here? i really don't have a strong view around BTC near-term PA, but have a general bullish bias as someone who is ancient, i was around and aware of market pre-GFC i appreciate the george/chumbas/tolks of the world going "this is madness, it has to cool off/pop/break". i've had trepidations for many years but at the same time: we've arguably been in some sort of bubble for the past 17-18 years. the incentive seems to be "stay in risk. if you get spooked, you're historically just going to get left in the fucking dust, and the market will be 30-40% higher 2y later", even if "this has to stop" feels prudent.
