Someday I'll get around to writing more about how to run a large church. Or any organization that relies on mission and culture to grow.
If you think you follow me you probably don't. Started the account over from zero.
This one already aging nicely. We'll see what the second half brings.

Every guy eventually ends up choosing one of these life paths:
• High School Sweetheart Guy — first kiss, first girlfriend, first wife. Each others one and only… never leave the suburbs.
• College Girlfriend Guy — met in a frat basement, broke up 4 times, somehow still got married at 27.
• Big City Guy — “I’ll settle down next year.” Repeats this until 38 and settles down with a beautiful mid.
• SF Tech Guy — $4M net worth, wears the same gray hoodie every day. Never finds a wife, but also never looked.
• Drug Guy — somehow knows a guy for absolutely everything. This guy is 37 years old and still taking yearly trips to Ibiza.
• Golf Family Guy — vanished at 30. Hates his wife. Only communicates through tee times. Directly aligned with the suburbs guy.
• Suburbs Guy — Costco, Traeger, lawn, repeat. Lives a normal, boring yet fulfilling life. Majority end here.
• 35-Year-Old Single Guy — still “keeping his options open.” Moves cities, girlfriends, jobs every other year.
Not sure why Oklahoma has such a high % of churches serving as polling sites vs other states.
Generally all precincts have to be covered, and since churches are everywhere they become an obvious solution.
There is actually a polling site shortage in some places because many school districts have declined to host due to security concerns.
Problem for larger churches is that they may also have schools or ministries for vulnerable populations attached, so having thousands of strangers come through on a school day is not ideal. Especially a day with heightened religious/political tensions attached.

If your pastor isn't giving thanks for the end of 100 degree weather its time to find a new church
Happy Sunday everyone
So who is the target audience here? @MLB @FOXSports
Presumably males 25-50 is the primary audience during MLB playoffs?
ED treatment's historical target market was primarily men aged 40-70+, and almost always Rx'd to guys with other underlying medical issues, i.e., diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, prostate cancers, etc.
Men 20s & 30s is apparently a growing market segment for ED pills.
If that's true, then it explains why the style of the ad would only appeal to the sophomoric fantasies of young men, or old men who refuse to grow up.
"Take the pills and you will last for hours (wink)"
Gross. I'm with my family just trying to watch the game.
I am sick of these ridiculous ads during prime time TV where sports is one of the last bastions of watchable programming for families with kids.
We don't need over-the-top sexualized actresses pushing sex aids at all, much less with our wive and kids in the room.
Grow up everybody.
This isn't just a crisis of athleticism but of imagination. Didn't occur to her to jump in.
This quoted post is unavailable.
T minus how many years until one of these is financed for 120 months at 23% APR and promptly repo'd in Oceanside or Jacksonville?

1. As a matter of prudence, I don't think live streaming it would serve as a deterrent (in fact the opposite is true) and I think it would accelerate our culture's lust for darkness, not reverse it. Those are just opinions and there are decent (but incorrect 😇) arguments to the contrary.
2. On purely biblical grounds, using a couple of verses in the OT is not sound "biblical" decision making. In fact it is blatant eisegesis. I care more about that within the Christian community than I do #1
I'm specifically talking about the stream, not the death penalty.
It's not even an insanely religious take to want the ads during family programming to exercise restraint. I get that the primary target audience is probably male 25-50, but primetime sports will always include kids and teens.

Troy should join the Mannings after this season. A pod of elite QBs saying whatever they want about football would be great viewing.
Cowboys Hall of Famer @TroyAikman joined The Musers this morning, and the guys gave let him have the floor to address the headlines over the last 24 hours about his situation over at ESPN, regarding his contract status.
