honestly no idea but from the testing i did range/mage wouldnt break my venge ever until like 3 mins into a fight, whereas a tiny voidwaker smack or any melee hit would break it any time.

Oh yeah so there’s two hitsplats because he procced my vengeance on the same tick. It’s a spell in the lunar spell book and you can see me activate it before I enter the instance. I stepped diagonally to try and force the NPC to hit me with the nox hally and proc the vengeance.
