I see that some ppl are still insistent on calling this emotional abuse. I just wanna say my experience might be different from the common cause of strict parenting. Calling my parents straight up abusive is watering down the complicated matter that I actually have to deal with

Some of you are taking this as if I'm defending my parents...? Whether or not you'd classify this as abuse, that's not the point. What I'm trying to say is that strict parenting can cause harm in a more complicated way, so you can't just say "kalau di-abuse tinggal abuse balik"
