By far the best recruit of the entire cycle for Dems.
This was like a Trump +18 district and Pulido won it by 25 points. Lmao.
This won’t even be possible for R’s to flip. He’s got that seat as long as he wants.
He’s a famous Tejano music star. He was performing at quinceañeras all over his district during the campaign.

As of now, Democrats look on track for about 260 U.S. House seats, give or take one or two depending on if mail ballots out west break a little differently than expected in a district or two. They will have the largest majority for either party in 36 years.

hadn't really hit me that some of the voters who just sent a Black man to the Senate from Mississippi remember having to pay poll taxes. American history is so short. Historic. So so so so so happy for them.

Bad policy, bad character make bad politics: erratic tariffs, impulsive Iran war, blanket pardons, apparent corruption, weaponized justice, ICE brutality, mountainous deficits, hiding Epstein, abandoning allies and coddling enemies. Hoping for a course correction, for the country and for my party.

Here is Rep. Virginia Foxx yelling “shut up” at journalists for asking about Republicans’ attacks on democracy.
She just lost her seat in Congress.

Man, John Bel Edwards fumbled big time when he rebuffed Schumer's attempt to recruit him to run for this seat.
Just woke up and I still can’t believe it. My state is blue for the first time in a generation. God damn proud to be a Texan today

Congratulations to Gina Hinojosa - the first Plan II Honors Program alumni to be governor of Texas

It’s all great, but Greg Abbott losing has really hit the hardest for me. He made Texas HELL for Democrats, immigrants, and especially trans Texans for years. Finally, so many Texans can stop scratching and clawing for scraps and start reaching for something more.

Greg Abbott spent $281 million in the governor's race. Gina Hinojosa spent $38.6 million.

One stunning stat for you: As of mid July 2025, Hinojosa's campaign (she had yet to declare her gubernatorial run) had a shade under $25,000 on hand.
Abbott's campaign at the time had more than $86 million on hand. #txpolitics
