GPT-6.1 Terra is 3x faster at computer-use tasks. Can't wait to see how much faster we can produce bugs now 😂

GPT-6.1 Terra is rolling out now and is available to all Plus, Pro, Enterprise, and Edu users in ChatGPT Work and Codex. Developers can also access it through the OpenAI API as gpt-6.1-terra. openai.com/index/introducing…

If your API needs a client SDK just to feel usable, the API might be the problem.

I'm trying to make sure AI helps me avoid boring work without making me forget how to do the interesting part myself.

Hope you had a good weekend. And if you didn't get everything done, there's always next weekend 😄

Do you have things in the house that you've been keeping "just in case" for so long that you no longer remember what the case was?

Whatever you're doing today, I hope you get to spend at least a little time on something you genuinely enjoy.

Please, for the love of god, stop handing over your passwords, credit card details, and other sensitive information to AI. I don't care how secure they claim their vault is. NOBODY BUT YOU should have access to this information.

I genuinely don't understand the obsession with RGB lighting. To me, it makes even an expensive setup look cheap.
Why does this look so beautiful?? 😻

I've started appreciating comments that admit nobody really knows why something works.

Some owners of iPhone Duo are already reporting cracked screens around the hinge. This guy says his broke after fewer than 20 folds.

Spring AI 2.1 RC1 is out with a new session memory system and tool call approvals. The new approach looks really interesting, but the memory migration is what caught my attention. The old API is already deprecated, and some storage backends still have no replacement. Spring is moving fast. Maybe a bit too fast in some places. spring.io/blog/2026/10/23/sp…

There are so many AI coding tools coming out that I could spend an entire weekend just figuring out which one I'm supposed to try next.

I've noticed how quickly I get annoyed when something takes even slightly longer than expected. A website loading for five seconds, an app asking me to log in again, a video buffering for a moment. We've gotten used to everything being instant. And I sometimes wonder whether all this convenience is making us less patient with absolutely everything else too.

What's something PostgreSQL can do that you think far too many backend developers still solve in application code?

There should be a rule against asking complicated questions during the first hour after waking up.
