Rain & mud didn’t stop Year 4 from having a brilliant 2-day residential at @rootdadventure🏕️🌧️
They tackled archery, crate stacking & shelter building but the highlight was a dramatic Cresta Run photo finish between Mr Partridge & Mrs Ombok🏎️💨

It's campfire, DHS talent show and hot chocolate time for Year 3 on their residential. It's been a fantastic - and fantastically sunny - day! Looking forward to tomorrow and more activities with the team from @rootdadventure. #adventure #outdoors #courage
Happy National Squirrel Appreciation Day!
Red squirrels are Britain's only native squirrel and have lived here for over 10,000 years!
Unfortunately, the introduction of american grey squirrels in the 1800s is threatening red squirrels with extinction!

Can teenagers really not live without their smartphones or are they secretly longing for fulfilling alternatives?
Social media provides an easy escape, however, the long term benefits of time outside & hobbies are far greater 📚🌳
