We’re living through another internet transition Web2 toWeb3. Remember Web1 in the 1990s? The internet was mostly read-only. We visited websites, searched for information, and consumed content. Then came Web2 in the 2000s. Suddenly, everyone could create, share, and build online. Facebook, YouTube, and later Instagram changed how we communicate, work, and do business. The internet went from reading to creating. And now, Web3 is introducing another possibility: ownership. Digital assets, blockchain, stablecoins, and financial infrastructure that can operate beyond a single platform. But just like Web2 didn’t replace Web1 overnight, Web3 won’t replace Web2 overnight either. We’re still early in understanding what this transition could become. The interesting question isn’t just which crypto will go up. It’s who will build the next generation of the internet.

Imagine waking up and the internet stops working. No online banking. No card payments. No ATMs. No flights. Even hospitals could be affected. This is starting to feel like Leave the World Behind… except it's not a movie. 🥺 The UK is urging households to prepare 72-hour emergency supplies amid risks including cyberattacks. We’re building an entirely digital future. But are we ready for its vulnerabilities?

For most of history, intelligence alone wasn’t enough. People also needed capital, connections, and access. AI may not create equal opportunities for everyone, but it could give more talented people a chance to succeed, regardless of their background.

Me wanting everything to be digital and convenient… and then the cybersecurity headlines arrive 🥺
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. Read my latest for Axios here: axios.com/2026/10/22/ai-agen…

Back in the $NEM ICO days, my dad told me to watch crypto. 🥹🥹 Today, he called me just to tell me to learn AI. Some things never change. 🥹

Everyone is talking about longevity while crypto traders are sacrificing their sleep to trade a market that never closes. 😭 getting 8 hours of sleep is the alpha ? 👀😆

The way we learn, work, invest, and create wealth is evolving. And I think we're only getting started 👀

No system is perfect. We’re all human, after all. I guess it’s about finding the right balance between transparency, accountability, and privacy ?

Every country has different regulations, cultures, and consumer behaviors. I think understanding the local market is just as important as having a great product.

Every time I meet my crypto friends, somehow we always end up talking about the next meme or what we’re trenching lately. 👀 And honestly, I love that side of crypto too. I still enjoy memes, the communities, and all the fun chaos that comes with it.🫶🏻 I’ve been around since raspberry pi mining, and I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs, scams, and expensive lessons. But over the years, I’ve also become more curious about the bigger picture. There’s so much more happening in blockchain beyond the casino, and I think it’s worth exploring too. From financial infrastructure to making money more accessible, transparent, and easier to move. Of course, we’re still figuring things out. There will be failures, loopholes, and plenty of lessons along the way. But isn’t that part of how technology evolves? I hope we can keep supporting the people genuinely trying to make things better, while still being honest about what needs fixing 🫶🏻

Imagine everyone could see your bank balance, your salary, and every single transaction you make. Would you be comfortable with that? I genuinely value privacy because I believe not everything needs to be public. Transparency is important, but so is privacy.

I used to think the more decentralized something is, the safer it automatically becomes. But lately I’ve been realizing… decentralized doesn’t mean unhackable. The smart contract can be decentralized, but there are still so many layers around it keys, front ends, oracles, signers, infrastructure, and of course, humans….. And with more exploits happening, I keep coming back to one question If something goes wrong, where does accountability actually begin? Maybe that’s where good regulation can have a role 👀 Not to control DeFi or slow down innovation, but to help create clearer standards around security, transparency, and accountability? 👀 Random thought ~

After the $388M security incident, @bitget has been pretty active with their updates. Withdrawals are also being restored step by step as each network clears additional security checks. This incident became another stress test for crypto not just for security, but for how the whole ecosystem evolves after finding its loopholes. Big incidents usually lead to better security standards, more oversight, and eventually more regulation. That comes with a trade off more protection can also mean more rules for an ecosystem originally built to be open and permissionless. But I do believe this is part of how blockchain grows up. We find the loopholes, fix them, improve the infrastructure, and slowly figure out how decentralized technology can actually coexist with the world we live in today. Sometimes the lessons are expensive 😭, ( kayak jaman dulu belajar futures kena liquid 🫩) but every cycle teaches the industry something new. Maybe blockchain becoming the future doesn’t mean staying exactly as it was on day one, but evolving without losing the reason it existed in the first place
