Weโve called Hannah โBallooโ since she was a toddler. Seems ironic that Storm Boelo ( pronounced Boolo) is coming over the weekend of her wedding. It all adds to the fun ๐๐จ๐จ๐จโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ#holdontoyourhats

Out on the wily, windy moors... lies one of the Dales' most remarkable industrial heritage sites: Old Gang Lead Mines. At around 119 metres long, the huge peat store was reputed to hold up to three years' worth of fuel for the smelt mill furnaces.
๐ Old Gang Smelt Mill

ALT Ruins of the Old Gang lead mining complex in Swaledale emerging through low cloud and mist. A tall stone chimney stands among roofless stone buildings, with rough grass, spoil-covered slopes and a winding track in the foreground. The moorland landscape fades into fog, highlighting the site's remote and atmospheric industrial heritage.

On Whernside, Force Gill cascades down the mountain in a series of steps, carving its way through the landscape.
