Due to building works I am unavailable for in-person coaching for a few weeks Which means I am a full time online coach for now 😃 To mark this I’m running a September promotion on Skillest. 10% off 2 lessons or 20% off 6. You can use the lessons at any pace and in between lessons I offer support plus you can send pictures of setup changes we’re working on without using up a lesson. I’ll link my Skillest profile in the first comment below. Any questions please ask.

I’ve spent a little more time on instagram recently. Not posting just browsing. Wow is there a lot of bad info on there. Because I have taken an interest in putting content it’s been showing me more and more. So much AI slop or videos by big accounts that maybe have good knowledge in swing coaching but clearly don’t coach putting. The reason I know is they offer solutions to problems that don’t really exist. But because they’re big accounts they get hundreds of thousands of views and likes. There’s a reason I don’t do swing related videos / tips. I don’t coach the swing. The videos would be riddled with bad information and more likely to hinder than help anyone. Putting never seems to be afforded the same luxury 🤔 Rant over 😆😆

Any Detroit Lions fans following me? This is my football (soccer) team they’ve made a link with 😃

Some good client success this week. Well done Paul Moultrie picking up his 2nd win of the season on the Scottish Seniors circuit 👏 And young Matthew Kelly winning the Kirkhill junior championship 👏 Both long term clients who are committed to improvement. I always enjoy my time with Paul and actually end up learning lots myself. Almost feel guilty charging him for the session 🤣. His approach to the game and life in general is inspiring. The success he gets on the course is no accident. Hard work and dedication all the way.

Ladies Scottish Open with the kids today. Followed Nelly on the back 9. Only 30-40 people watching as out of contention. Great access up close.

Things that actually make you a better putter; • a good grip/setup • find out why you struggle with speed • find out why you struggle with start lines • a good practice plan More popular routes people take; • claw grips • putters marketed as “helping” you (zero-torque, arm-lock, counter balance) • extra thick grips • listening to putting myths your buddies come out with. Hire a putting coach if you want to be a better putter 😉

Charley Hull had this for birdie And made a single putt 9! 😮 #golfistough

If LIV golf had truly worked then the best golfers in the world would’ve all gone there Which would have killed the DPWT and PGAT So Westwood goes to a tour that could’ve crushed his home tour. Which proves he doesn’t really care about it However, now he seems to? 🤔

Is this the equivalent of “Englishman Bob McIntyre wins his first major” 😂 Maybe @ryanmouquegolf can answer?

This is so cool is real time Part of me wanted him to not putt so quickly. I was thinking dude this is for the Open can we all have a minute to soak in what that means?? But it is a great advert for golf and shows we don’t need to stomp around the hole, read it to death, have 5 looks over the ball, etc.

Delighted for Ryan Fox 👏 Handled the tough break on 15 amazingly well. Made a great bogey. Seriously clutch birdie on 18. Wasn’t many birdies on that hole. And taking 20 seconds to roll in a putt from Burns holing out. Wow. That’s how you win a claret jug 😎
