For those of you who remember @BMW’s The Hire series starring Clive Owen, which was your favorite? Mine was the late great Tony Scott’s Beat the Devil with Gary Oldman and James Brown.
Recommend me some good literary post-apocalyptic fiction like @EdanL’s California, @EmilyMandel’s Station Eleven, Peter Heller’s Dog Stars, and Cormac McCarthy’s The Road.

Thank you for the kind messages. I am speaking with a grief/ crisis counsellor.
I apologize if I caused anyone any worry. Depression, anxiety/ panic attacks & grief are very real and serious issues.
If anyone is suffering I urge you seek help. And cats.
I’m saying it because I think he really needs to hear it right now: @TheRyanAdams is my favorite musician of all time. Heartbreaker and Gold got me through high school. Love is Hell got me through my first bad breakup. Easy Tiger was my soundtrack in my LA years.
And Prisoner was released precisely at the time I needed it most. When I feel alone, I listen to that album and I realize I’m not. I love you @TheRyanAdams. You have always found a way to speak the words I can’t find.

Mandy is the kind of fucked up film that makes you feel like you’re going to hell for watching it. But it’s so damn good. And Cage is so damn good. The bathroom drinking scene is one of my favorite Cage moments of all time. Nobody does crazy better.

My most recent @Criterion purchase. My favorite film of all time made by my favorite director of all time: #TreeofLife by #TerrenceMalick. Apparently there are 50 minutes of extra footage that make it a completely different film. I. Am. Stoked.
The first #novel I wrote was a #fantasy novel. I was 15 and just wanted to see if I could do it. My current project is very personal and getting me down so for the first time in 17 years I’m exploring the fantasy genre again to lift my #depression. It’s working. #amwritingfantasy
