Reform not happy bunnies
My latest polling reported in the Mail on Sunday @DailyMail - my commentary and analysis here:

Wilson, Truman , Eisenhower, Clinton , Bush lost both , big names! And all but a few lose one or the other , Obama lost the Senate in second term -Trump has stat wise been less humiliated than some of these
Trump’s humiliation should worry Farage, but it would be foolish to think the populist threat is over bit.ly/4iEIuyv

he is still an 'apprentice ' at the job of Prime Minister so it would be above expectations for Burnham to have a fixed idea on anything

no use having an election on joining EU or Referendum until the terms are known and that could well be a massive shock to voters -even to Labour politicians
Perhaps his next article will be about an election and referendum on the same day dailymail.com/debate/article…

This may be the most damning statement ever uttered by a Labour minister. It's so revealing of the attitude of a government that thinks that employers are a class that don't work for their profits but somehow exploit others for them - rather than understanding the nature of small and medium-sized businesses and how bloody hard most employers work to create wealth and employment.
'I don't think employers are working people.'

Hislop is right. Nor is this unnamed celebrity the only one using the threat of suicide as a means to suppress legitimate reporting.

Standing charges "removed" (for gas only, not electricity).
Instead, the cost will be added to unit costs.
Who uses most gas? The elderly and young families.
Thanks, Labour. For nothing.

Now that their full documentary has aired – after a week of drip-feeding extracts – we can safely say it is a damp squib.
To be clear, it does show a few Reform councillors and activists making some appalling comments – racist, misogynistic, you name it.
But absolutely any political party, organisation or business subjected to a year-long fly-on-the-wall sting, with every possible conversation recorded and attempts to coax as much incriminating language out of people as possible, would reveal some disgusting language and viewpoints.

is this not Zelensky’s last stand -must be under intense pressure to take the deal both at home and internationally as EU and UK seek a peace dividend to ease economic and political pressure

Labour can find billions for welfare, but nothing for Britain’s defence. Their priorities are completely wrong.

Speaking as a woman and a member of the Church of England, I find it infuriating that the first female Archbishop of Canterbury has turned out to be so spectacularly useless.
in the office of No 10 amongst co socialist the idea of putting illegals in high class areas sounds great but when articulated on TV and Radio it sounds dreadful class warfare
The village of Piddington is becoming the "meat in the sandwich of a culture war" due to local protests against a migrant centre.
But will the likes of Reform's Sarah Pochin and the far-right arriving to protect "indigenous white women" help their cause?

Surely this issue is easily resolved. Have Delo and Harborne been paying UK tax. If, as Reform claim, they are UK nationals who have been living in the UK since March 2025.

Reform are about to learn the lesson of the law of diminishing returns.
In 2020, Michael Bloomberg spent $1 billion employing 2,400 staff and saturating coverage on his Presidential campaign. It came to nothing.
Money is an accelerant, not a cure. If the fundamentals are good, it improves things. If they’re bad, things will get a whole lot worse.
You can buy staff and advertising, but you can’t buy judgement or integrity.
Sometimes a bigger cheque just means you make more of the same mistakes.
The Conservatives are up for the fight.
We are raising millions, attracting new donors and winning back old ones because people can see what is coming.
Britain does not need another protest party. It needs common sense, a serious plan and a party capable of bringing the country together.
That is who we are.
And it is what Reform will never be.
he does not look a happy man -helped to bring down Starmer and lost a top job only to be demoted by the new regime and then to have to face the public and deal with 3.5% by 2035 but not 3% by 2030 -resignation around the corner
