Today I’m proud to share that I‘ve joined Sound Ventures as an advisor. Few people recognize exceptional talent and transformative ideas as early as @guyoseary and I’m looking forward to seeing that up close. Sound was the first firm to take significant early positions in both OpenAI and Anthropic, with Guy personally sourcing the Anthropic deal. There’s no other venture firm with the depth of marketing and brand knowledge that Sound has, and I’m excited to work alongside their Founders to help tell their stories.

This is smart because IG is a conversion machine and I really think X has to be won organically
Why are they posting this only on Instagram but not X?

I have a series called "Creator Love" on IG where I highlight creators who make scrolling social media actually feel like a good use of time. Only 1 creator out of 5 from this episode is active on X (@imPatrickT - a must follow on all platforms) Which I find pretty insane, especially with how creator friendly X has become.

Yeah, this is incredibly impressive. I gave Claude Opus 5.5 a raw talking-head video and it handed back an entirely completed edit. BUT in the reply, I will put the version edited by me -- so you can see the difference between high-end human vs AI editing prowess. Here's what Claude did: • Transcribed the a-roll word-by-word and found the 10 black gaps I’d left for b-roll • Studied my Instagram reels to learn my style: pacing, captions, serif titles, etc. • Pulled real, contextual footage from all over the internet and added sources • Built 39 b-roll cuts, punch-ins, titles and motion graphics • Picked 3 music cues that shift with the story • Checked every cut for problems and fixed the bad ones before handing it over • Completed the task in about 2 hours and 50 minutes across 3 rounds of revisions.

Here is my version, which took me 6 hours to edit. Claude's took me 6 seconds of my time (to run the skill) Mine is better. But the AI’s is a solid C+ Which is better than A LOT of human editors out there. For the VAST majority of creators, especially talking-head creators, C+ in minutes for free, beats A in hours or days at a premium price. So in my opinion, editing is now solved for most. And I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s doing A work by this time next year. But. When everyone gets the same superpower, nobody has a superpower. meaning.. The baseline is going up for everyone, but aside from a small arbitrage window, mostly everyone remains a commodity. So what sets the TOP-TIER apart from the sea, will be the same thing it’s always been... human creativty, cultural understanding, instinct, etc.

Been testing the new Surface Laptop Ultra in the studio and it is a complete BEAST. NVIDIA RTX Spark, 128GB unified memory and enough local AI power to run 120B+ parameter models. In a laptop. Only downside is the touchpad falls short of my MBP. I use it with a mouse.

The hype is deserved. This is one of the best product review videos I have ever seen. They also made two versions of the same video, instead of just dubbing or using AI for English. Very impressive.

Everyone's hacking their TVs right now. I tried it on the 3 Sony Bravias in my studio, and it's actually very useful: • No more ads, bloatware and trackers • 2X faster menu animations • Dramatically improved response/load time • Control TVs from anywhere • Custom apps and UIs • Turned a $20 ESP32 gadget into unified voice remote

AGENT WARS We asked 5 top AI models to design, engineer and 3D print a bridge to with the goal of holding the most possible weight. 🇺🇸 Anthropic: Claude Opus 5.5 (High) 🇨🇳 Kimi: Kimi K3 (High) 🇺🇸 Meta: Muse Spark 1.3 (High) 🇺🇸 OpenAI: GPT 6 Astra (High) 🇺🇸 SpaceXAI: Grok 4.7 (High) Each bridge had specific parameters. It had to span 2 feet, use a maximum 500 grams of filament, and it had to be under 18 hours of printing time. We specified what type of weight and where we would place it on the bridge. The Score: • Claude Opus 5.5 held an estimated 130 lbs! It took 9 hours and 11 minutes to print 17 parts and used 441 grams of filament. • Meta Muse Spark 1.3 held 26.5 lbs. It took 13 hours and 12 minutes to print 49 parts and used 478 grams of filament. • OpenAI GPT-6 Astra held an estimated 17.5 lbs. It took 15 hours and 44 minutes to print 29 parts and used 442 grams of filament. • SpaceXAI Grok 4.7 did not finish. On assembly it could not stand up by itself. It took 12 hours and 22 minutes to print 29 parts and used 460 grams of filament. • Kimi K3 did not finish. It wasn’t engineered correctly so the bridge could not even be assembled. It took 11 hours and 19 minutes to print 35 parts and used 446 grams of filament. That means our champion for this episode is Claude Opus 5.5. Not only did it hold the most weight (by FAR) it also took the least time to print, used the least amount of parts and used the least amount of filament. This was episode 02 of Agent Wars, stay tuned for episode 03.

Pretty amazing how similar the numbers are on my latest video on IG/TT a few hours in. Algos seem to be coalescing, and speed is rewarded more than ever. X can be a slower burn, but explosive when it gets going.
