I'm sure these 11 men would be just as happy turning up and running in a parkrun with no published ranked results and with no need to worry about categories. Just as much fun and even more inclusive, right?
At least 11 men ran in the Female category in parkrun UK last Saturday.
One got 1st Female. He now has well over 100 1st Female finishes.
3 were top 3 in age category.
Between them, these 11 men bumped down >700 females.

Sex-based categories 101:
👉biological females register in female category, regardless of identification (e.g. trans, non-binary etc).
👉humans of male sex, regardless of identification, register in the male category
👉inclusive & fair

Why are some people pretending to find the @RRRunnersUK campaign hard to understand? Parkrun publish weekly results in a "female" category. The only purpose for that is to show females how they did compared to other females. There is no place for any men in those female results.

A science teacher says he wants to give ‘transphobes a Halloween fright’ at parkrun.
Quoting Macbeth, he’s announced plans for a rival running group to @RRRunnersUK. The club was launched last month to “peacefully protest” parkrun policy - which still allows men to ‘self-ID’ into the women’s category.
One prospective supporter on Reddit says it would be ‘extra fun to bait the bigots’.
But given the new club is due to launch on Halloween, things seem remarkably, um, quiet out there.

Why are there so many angry, abusive and misogynistic men at #Parkrun?
Sounds like Parkrun doesn’t just have an institutional misogyny problem but also a participant one.
This guy (@andrewayr) is abusing fellow @RRRunnersUK club member @HallisseyC because she demands fair, sex-based categories at Parkrun.

In my last parkrun as a female, I ran in the women's 40-44 category. I lost out on 1st overall female to somebody who won a 3rd place trophy in the men's 30-34 category in last season's X-country. This is what parkrun's warm and fuzzy inclusiveness looks like. 🤷♀️🤯
