Over the past two editions, #BtrustDeveloperDay has brought together developers, designers, contributors, and builders from across the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Unfortunately, we won’t be hosting the event this year. We know many of you were looking forward to gathering again, and we’ll miss the opportunity to learn, connect, and build together.
We’re using this time to listen, reflect, and prepare for a bigger next chapter in 2027.
Thank you to everyone who has joined us, contributed, spoken, volunteered, and built alongside the community so far.
We can’t wait to welcome you back in 2027. More details are coming soon. Watch this space.

lugano is going to be so fire this year 🙌
Without our beloved judges, the Honey Badgers, there would be no Cypher Tank. 🦡
As VCs, investors and entrepreneurs, they bring deep expertise, laser-focused vision and a truly low-time-preference mindset to the Tank.
Their judgment will be uncompromising yet principled. This year, the founders will need to sharpen their negotiation skills, defend their vision and convince the Honey Badgers one more time.
Will they succeed?
There’s only one way to find out. Join us at the end of October for the live recordings at pow.space., the link for the ticket is here: planbweek.com/golden-ticket 👀

Fedimint aims to remove single points of failure with your Bitcoin custody.
But having one codebase was an obvious gap.
In Berlin, members from the @Fedimint and @CashuBTC community made great inroads in resolving that situation.

For the first time, @fedimint -SDK 🔆 will have Dart-UniFFI.
I’ll be spending the next few weeks making this possible, opening up new possibilities for the Fedimint ecosystem and developers building native and cross-platform mobile apps with Flutter.
And with the recent release of the Android SDK, the timing couldn’t be better. Excited to see where this takes Fedimint. ⚡️

What does it take to build a pathway for developers to find their place in Bitcoin open source?
In the latest episode of Btrust in Focus, @proofofpaul sits down with @StephTitcombe, Head of Program & Operations at Btrust, to discuss the evolution of Btrust Builders and what it takes to support developers as they enter, grow and contribute to the Bitcoin ecosystem.
They talk about the lessons that have shaped the program, the communities and projects that have grown around it, and the role of mentorship in creating a cycle where developers eventually become mentors and leaders themselves.
Stephanie also shares what comes next for @btrust_builders, from expanding its technical pathways and supporting local communities to creating more opportunities for developers to build together.

Yesterday we went down the Boltzmann rabbit hole and ended the day with a few questions about what the program is actually doing under the hood.
Apparently that was enough to keep @jaonoctus up at night, because he came back this morning with the algorithm drawn out on the whiteboard 😅
