i created the ultimate Internet lens for myself. right now its only source is Farcaster. it works like a flowing algorithm that you build as you go. flexible discovery and exploration of the network. one of the problems with algorithms is that old posts gradually get forgotten. i'm digging through the archives of old casts as well. so it's like speaking with the network, with its history. you shape the algorithm. it's a tool for knowledge. free to use. no registration needed. @typesafeai jev under the hood to route natural language commands and steer the system. gpt-6 as the llm for suggesting books or historical figures based on a topic, for example. default.observer

Banned from @balajis’s new @farcaster_xyz for making anti Flock posts. You can’t make this up. If you’re still using it just know who you’re dealing with and what their principles are.

people can already bash agents with Jev. Each line can go through a simplicity filter, so every batch of code gets filtered for unnecessary complexity. just get rid of the overcomplicated stuff. LLMs write the code, and Jev reviews it. or helps humans with code reviews you can also run Jev against huge chunks of legacy code
found the perfect use case for @typesafeai Jev: instant compaction in 2026, why is compaction still a summarization prompt? Jev can make it instant by scoring every tool call and dropping what’s irrelevant

biomes could form around clusters of related ideas in posts. Jev might come in handy here for classifying them. we "surf the Internet" today. i imagine "going on a roguelike run" through it. hmm
Explore the Internet like a Brogue run.

Excited to finally share Sphaira, the eternal synthesizer. Ethereum has plenty of financial instruments. I wanted to make a musical one. Sphaira is a synth the internet takes turns playing. One shared instrument for the world(link below) Sound on.

1\ Introducing auteur.network v2. A new era for Auteur, where the mission becomes much clearer. Vision is now a shared canvas shaped by curators. Bring something worth seeing and connect ideas. Every 48 hours, a fresh snapshot of the Internet.

3\ Funding Keys are live too. Scouts find. Curators fund. Auteurs create. If you have a Curator Key, you can fund works directly. Your allowance renews every epoch: Wisp Key → 1 Ember Key → 2 Runic Key → 3 Astral Key → 5 The first wave went to early Auteur contributors.

4\ The reward pool has also been rebalanced: 50% → auteurs 15% → scouts up to 35% → backing rewards Auteur is still experimental, so rewards, incentives, Key allowances and other mechanics are subject to change.

I should get more comfortable sharing a vercel link. Though adding a domain is hardly more work... Ok, I'll share more links. Starting with this one, a minisite for a font I designed in 2021.* *Definitely a prototype don't judge too hard yet thank you vulcan.vercel.app/

A multiplayer way to browse the Internet. In the next Auteur update, Vision is moving from profiles to the public square: a shared board that resets every epoch. Think of it as a room shaped by what we think belongs together. [my millionth attempt to ditch the feed]
i want something like this: a) find a handful of people with exceptional taste and use their curations as my feed, so i never have to open an algorithmic "For You" again ^ this reopens the Pandora's box of human-curated feeds [microfeeds, personal lenses] b) play a financial game of taste: put economic conviction behind what people discover, support people posting good stuff on the Internet, and build a public portfolio of my own taste ^ this opens up a money loop between creators and audiences <-> social networks are built around expression, whilst i'm more interested in impression. we read far more than we write. what someone chooses to save often tells me more about them than another post of their own. it reveals what catches their attention and what they believe deserves to travel. platforms treat these actions as secondary. X recently made reposts less visible on profiles. meanwhile, publishing has no friction and algos keep rewarding more content. basically pushing what's already popular. i will always say: as the Internet gets louder, curation becomes more valuable. its just inevitable. amplify not what we say, but what we choose to notice
