After many months of iteration, we are finally ready to open Lightyear up to the public! Frustrated with Zapier's limitations? Know how to code? Then you should really give Lightyear a try!

I’m Mark, a product designer and currently building Lightyear - an integration platform built for developers. We help developers write powerful integrations in a few lines of code. Building and designing the whole product in public 👋

Made some buttons. For some reason I didn't design for the pressed state for years🤷‍♂️. Here are some to make up for it.

We feel design should not only be functional but also delightful. With small details and interactions putting a smile on your face. A lot of design has gotten a little too flat and bland. We are looking to change this with @runlightyear.

This is how it should look when you design for a clearly defined target audience (in this case, developers) - no CTA buttons, no fancy screenshots, but a minimalistic design reminiscent of the command line: runlightyear.com/ Good job @runlightyear!

@ericbouck @runlightyear 's website is :chefs-kiss: Is the general model that you provide a base layer of integrations, give the rest of us an interface to implement things that use them, and then that's an API we can hit any time?
