It’s been a good run. Not saying he had a perfect roster to work with, but I think it’s time the Dodgers move on from Dave Roberts. If he does have control over lineup & relief decisions, really bad choices this series.

fwiw my initial guess was additional WC team, WC to 5 games, DS to 7 games, either start the season a week earlier or cut games to add the playoffs games. this is in line with that.

Major League Baseball proposed cutting the regular-season schedule from 162 games to 154 games in a bargaining session with the MLBPA today. Also part of its proposal: higher seeds in playoffs get to choose their opponents, and division series expand to seven games.

didier fuentes/JDP reminded me a lot of acuña/buehler in 2018. two young stars facing off in a big spot in the playoffs. round 1 goes to JDP, unlike 2018.
