If you have a blue checkmark and I come across your post and it's kinda bland and sort of addressing the issue de jour but not anything interesting... I'm assuming you're a bot and blocking you. Here are some examples:

We’re losing the pillars and I’m worried about the foundation
Kenny Smith gives his farewell to Ernie Johnson: “The first day I got here, I felt like I could win a championship. Your energy made me feel that way. Thank you.”

I love maps and it’s great for the top song but the way these people talk about music makes me want to blow up a building.
Rolling Stone Presents The 200 Greatest Rock Songs of the 21st Century So Far 🎸 #1 - Yeah Yeah Yeahs, "Maps" "Unbelievable song, full of a lot of things that should not have made up for mainstream success."

What? No. You forgot to do the reading part of reading.
yall do you ever skip pages or even chapters when reading a book??

This is the problem for so many with contemporary art/literature/poetry. So you don’t “get” it. But obviously someone did. So what did they “get”? Be curious. What’s here that you didn’t immediately see? What do you need to look for?
Nabokov on how to approach a book. Unfortunately, students are almost uniformly taught to use the opposite tactic:

If I’m Lorne. I do a three show farewell tour. You do one of muppets to remind everyone that this is a pillar of tv. You do one show where you and Tina appear on update to announce. Then you do a tribute show. This is a no-brainer

Actually just started rewatching WW. It’s stunning. Sheen and Janney and Whitford and super underrated john Spencer (Leo) are just lights fucking out. But what they’re debating about feels like it’s from 70 years ago
The only way to enjoy the West Wing is to sigh heavily through the scenes like this and pretend they didn’t happen

Why aren’t you going to get it? What sort of host are you? Every classical society is based on the idea that receiving guests is a sacred duty. My brother got divorced and I went and bought an air mattress and sheets for him. Gracious hosting is the greatest good out there.
Had someone stay in my guest room last night and they acted really weird when I told them the mattress for the bed was in the storage unit and they'd have to go get it.

Hold on. He’s twenty years old?

Love the idea that the airlines are sinister and not just reacting to skyrocketing fuel costs. “They don’t want you to travel”. Do you hear yourself?
They’re ACTIVELY trying to price people out of flying and I don’t understand the end game.

Jokic is definitely one of the five best players I’ve ever watched live. And this decline is sad but honest. Makes what LeBron/curry/durant/duncan/harden even so impressive; the nba and Father Time are relentless.
It’s tragic what has happened with Jokic. Truly one of the greatest players of all time, his 2020s run has been incredible. You can see how much he cares for the game if you actually watch him play. He wants to win so badly every night. He also really cares about his teammates success, too. Hopefully he can end up back as what he used to be at some point

No one asked you to take a market risk. But also. Pay a cleaning staff? Or maybe this would take you an hour to clean. Either way, that’s the hospitality business. What did you think would happen?

Don’t. Most people have no idea what a script is. They think it’s just the dialogue and some descriptions of things. Please don’t. You’re probably wrong
this makes me wonder what the best movie with the worst script is. I guess without reading it you can't know for sure but it's an interesting question

Maybe it’s a gotcha. Maybe it’s America or humanity in general, but in a quick trigger situation, people can’t explain why they do what they do.
Michigan Wolverine fans were just asked who they’re voting for: Mike Rogers or Abdul El-Sayed. The answers? All over the map, and some of the reasons will surprise you. via voodiesinterviews/IG

Addiction definitely progresses like this. But it’s disingenuous. And no point did bird have any other options? If you’re on one path and the only option is gold blob, you’re gonna pick gold blob.
